Hi my loves! Finally it's here, I will be revealing what I scored at the Hermes Paris FSH store. However this video is going to be a very INFORMATIVE one as well, as there been SOME CHANGES to the appointment system at the 3 Hermes stores located in Paris. In this video I'm be taking you step by step through the leather appointment system at all 3 stores: Sevres, George V and FSH. Of course I will be unboxing my new bag and sharing my personal story with UPDATED TIPS on scoring a Birkin or Kelly. @@Eve_Edwardsshaver Paris store try to keep a reputation of the brand, they don't sell to people in flip flops or almost naked in the store. It's not LV. It doesn't mean is better than LV but they try to keep an etiquette like when you go to Hotel of Paris in Monaco nobody can wear sneakers. Very old rules. Women need to wear high heels, many change the shoes before entering the hotel and we are in 2020 for them to have a guy looking up and down peeps and not letting them inside of the hotel.
I'm really glad you acknowledge how crazy this is and how there is so much more to Paris. I love Paris, but I don't know if I'll ever go to the Hermes store. I admit I'm tempted. I love the Kelly, but I hate how they create this mystery and fake hype to increase the value and prestige. They just make people feel terrible so that they increase that desperation. As a French citizen with a French Passport and a French number I get an appointment almost every time (with before, no purchase history and I am still trying to get a Birkin in my specificiations, having rejected a few very politely) ! So if you have French friend (better if you actually speak French so that they don’t think you are a reseller) bring him/her. I just feel like they are so much more nice and it almost feels like a normal store/ shopping experience but with more stock 😝

If everyone can get whatever they want, you devalue the brand 🙂 Making it this hard, you will also ensure that the ones who really worship the brand and the bags end up with one. Also in Europe we very much appreciate people calling to let us know if they won’t be able to make an appointment. It’s just respectful of people and their time

I went on a deep dive last winter in preparation for my trip to Paris in June. I devoured your paris Haul videos and How to Score a Birkin or Kelly videos and I just want to thank you. Without purchase history, and without being able to land an appointment, I was able to charm my way into an appointment (luckily my husband speaks French) so on my second try I scored my Dream Bag! It is a Birkin 30, in Epsom leather, in the colour Rouge Cassaque, with Gold Hardware!! I am over the moon in love with it. Thank you for all your tips and hints. I just got back from Paris yesterday and was able - at the height of the Christmas season - to get a quick appointment (took 1/2 hour) on a Sunday at the Sevres store (I bought an Evelyn 29). I couldn't believe how easy it was. Maybe I was lucky, or I acted dumb so they felt pity on me :). I also have a cousin who lives in Paris and works at LV so she's familiar with the whole Hermes system. She told me that unless I wanted to buy a Kelly or a Birkin, I shouldn't waste my time trying to get an appointment at FSH because the resellers are gaming the online system. Anyway, I'm just so happy I was able to score my bag without really trying too hard.

@@jr5250 I was only looking for the black, so I didn't ask for any other color (they're not on display). As for being hard to get, I don't think the Evelyn is that hard to get, but surprisingly the black is not as common as the tan or the other colors.

The easiest way to get a Birkin bag etc is to spend 50k (Euros) in jewelry on the same day and then ask for a bag. Works every single time.

They went to the appointment and interview process to try to screen out people who resale their bags, and yes they always have a certain number of stock but they only sell them to who they want to. Hermes bags are basically all hand made so no mass production going on plus their quality and control is second to none and that's why their so limited in stock. Took me three months to get my girlfriend ( girlfriend then ) at the time wife now her first Hermes Birkin.

great video mel. this is exactly why I buy my B/ K/ C in Asia where I live. Its so much more expensive but the Paris experience is a nightmare. Its honestly the most expensive bags you buy under the absolute worst conditions (customer service, stress, rejection, disappointment etc). Id rather save up, spend that 20% extra having a glass of champagne with my favourite SAs back home rather than deal with Paris's crap system. So sad because we've all had such amazing FSH experiences in 2016-17-18.

Basically both of you should apply on the online system to double your chances of hopefully getting an appointment at FSH. Honestly it's hard to say. In 2017 my husband and I went separately and he scored a Kelly and I didn't. This time I went myself and he joined me later and I scored this bag. In general people say guys can have more luck but with so many resellers in Paris right now, sometimes its better to go as a couple so they don't think you are resellers. If you have time, try all 3 stores. Try alone and together and see how you go, but I do think it still boils down to how you connect with your SA. I hope that helps :)

Hi Mel, I love your new Kelly and the perfect name for her, of course, is ROSIE! I was in Paris in November and stood in line outside the Sevres store and did receive 4 appointments. I was offered the octogan bag, a Kelly back pack and a gorgeous navy Constance as well as a Kelly pochet.( of course I had made a few purchases) However, I scored a perfect Birkin at the Faubourg store and I only got appointments after an SA from whom I bought several things arranged an appointment at 2 different times. i had no luck with the on line appointment system even though I tried 7 times. I love your presentations and I really appreciate all the info you share. I'm going back to Paris in May and hopefully I will also be lucky and get a Kelly. That is the most beautiful color. If you were to buy an exotic in the future, what color, leather, and style(birkin, kelly, or constance) would you want? I would love to purchase a Kelly in croc bleu electric. It's just stunning! I saw an unboxing in another channel and my jaw dropped. Thank you for sharing your tips and tricks. I do not own any.
