Corbin Swages are way better overall. They are also made in the USA. They are higher quality and cost less to produce better slugs. This press only allows you to make 1 style slug. With Corbin you can change anything or even have them make you whatever you send in for specs. Hardened steel. I've heard not so good things about presslug. If you are going to take the dive I would highly recommend calling Corbin up and speaking to them. They are super helpful and will get you what you need. I guarantee you will be happier with a Corbin press and the basic slug die and press is actually cheaper then presslug. Not to mention Corbin is the maker of most all companies dies that make slugs. NSA slugs are all made with Corbin dies. Also you can make FX style hollow ogive slugs with a 2 die and press from Corbin. This kit will allow you to make both FX and NSA style slugs. Whatever length, weight, and base you select. This was not a hard choice if you do any digging. Corbin is the way. Also no tax if you buy from Corbin, located in Oregon with no sales tax.
And like others from the great usa you don't have any manners.
FX does not manufacture any slugs. The slugs they relabel are called SLAP and are manufactured by RMR who sells them in 500,1500 and 4500 quantities at a far lower cost than FX
I spoke with the gentleman from Corbin and is really nice guy very helpful, the price is almost $1700 plus the specific swage so all in all is almost 20+ hundreds and a wait of almost 6 months. If you want a different swage maybe in different caliber....$600+ so where is the advantage? It is made in the great USA but looks a little more complicated than this Presslug , the looks and finish of the Presslug a real European Jewel Simple Great looking and very precise every single slug. where to see realy slugs from this mold? what the slugs waight performance ?

Looks fantastic but for the cost I can buy several thousand pellets-ok maybe not super precise. Might be a great idea at a local gun club or share between friends. Some references to competition shooters using this product but ones who you have not given it to. I'd like to see an unbiassed review. LOL, I'd like to make an un biased review but can't afford it, don't get me wrong it looks like (ok the graphic-but I have seen the real thing) extremely well-made.
Probably this is the best and most advanced tool i have ever seen, thanks, i hope tools for all caliber and in different sizes/weight will be available and offered. Plz provide us more details. Thanks again

Everything looks great and Id say Ok price ... but the wire cutter man its Way Up OVERPRICED. there are so much option for just cutting the led wire ... the looks are good , but $400 just for the looks ... thats a personal decision for everyone. the blanks casting players are way more complex , the price is great, sometimes less is more .

For what you need this information? it is really low diameter. It is surplus from the wire and that is why it is everytime different.

Tried every weight with different alloys.
Yes, it produces good looking slugs, but ZERO accuracy.
Tried to contact them many times, but no reply.
Unless they improve the die, it is useless. Do not waste your money.
