I’m a real world GA pilot and these start up videos are very helpful to me in learning the flows for new planes in Microsoft flight simulator that I’ve never flown before. I can download the video and slow things down as i follow along so please keep this up
Great video. I appreciate the humor. Puts me in a good mood before I get on Pilotedge where I always seem to get myself reprimanded by one of the ATC guys *grin*.
Thank you. Did this after waching ur Video and i was allowed to bring her into approach by my self in real down here in munich. Very fascinating that it works that propper good in real life!
This is one of my favorites. And yes, the spoilers are a delightful feature. I saw a video by a real-world Ovation pilot who recommended 70 for the entire approach, so that's what I use.
Thank you for this video, really all of your videos. I am a new private pilot who has only flown carbureted Cessna 172 airplanes. I have been dreaming of owning a Mooney. I went and bought the Carenado M20R OVATION and having a blast! I need to order the Checkmate checklist. I am going to have go and get my complex single engine endorsement now lol! Perhaps a video on a deeper dive on the constant speed propeller and how to use properly? Landing gear is straight forward once you understand the VLE and VLO speeds.
+1 to others for forgetting the coolest feature, the speed brakes on the wings! Also, lately in SU10 beta I’ve really struggled to keep this thing aligned with the runway on takeoff/landing or approach. It’s like drifting in Initial D. Is that a sim issue or am I flying it wrong? Lastly, is the 2nd VOR dial functional?
hmm, you didn't even mention the trick card this plane has for slowing down. It's a tiny GA with Airbrakes or speed brakes or whatever they call them. They pop out of the top of the wings when deployed and do a decent job of slowing the plane down.
@@pipedreamin yes they're in the game and do work. I forget exactly where they are in the cockpit, as I just have it bound to a button on my joystick.. They're moderately effective, but I know forgotten to retract them more than once when doing touch and goes so I wouldn't call them amazing. The plane is still fast.
You really could've deleted 20% of the literal 'NOISE' you made and stuck to the actual experience... Have you had your dose of RIDLIN today? BIG THUMBS DOWN!

Love these videos. Hilarious while learning near things as well. :) For controlling speed for landing, speed brakes are helpful with that.

Thanks for this video. Really useful. There were a lot of things I was wondering about in the Mooney and you’ve covered them all.
Great video!

Great video, I would love to see an M20E
What's faster? The Mooney or your talking?

I was thinking the same thing, saw them on the wing but not deployed. I guess the question is if they are modeled in the game and if they work.

speed brakes!
I like bacon
you talk to FAST, TO FAST, TO FAST, TO FAST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Change play back speed to 0.75. Slower but he sounds drunk :)
