Primordial came before the regular, the nobel knight that stood long before the malevolent vampire
Come to think of it, it kinda reminds me even more about the tale of Dracula who was once a holy knight but threw his faith in God away as he lost his beloved and out of anger he stabbed a crucifix and drank blood from it. Since then he has become the vampire we know now.

Fun Fact: Primordial Malzeno is the Malzeno you fight in the story before his evolution. When it finds out that the Quorios found a new host after his defeat being Gaismagorm, he goes to find it and finish the job that the hunter didn't. In the first fight you have with Primordial, you realize that he was only a threat because the Quorios influenced him to be that way.
Note: You can find a lot of information in his bio, in the monster parts from him, and secret notes hidden in the citidel

Such a majestic yet deadly monster. A good way to test your mettle. If you cannot defeat this monster. Then i eould say you have no chance to defeat the monsters in anomaly rank 175 and above.

This mf carted me over 20x before i finally managed to ejd the quest.
This guy did 4 turns of morbin, one slash takes half my health, beam does nearly all your health, HIS WINGS ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO DODGE.
I can't believe that even with a cheeseball tank/sticky heavy bowgun build, i still get one shot again Malzeno sometimes. Maybe its just a mechanic or two that i dont know to avoid yet but i have failed 7 times so far!
