Hey man, can you tell me the reasoning behind setting up your kit the way you have it. It really sparked my interest, because I have been drumming for over 40 yrs now, and I "Still" am not totally comfortable with my kit set up. I'm constantly struggling to get set up more comfy. The kit goes "up" and then "down" in height, the same for my snare, up and down, flat/angles, etc. Your high hats in particular, are where many place their ride cymbal there, and some have a second set of hats that they put there, but they still have the other set of hats where they normally are. I have a bad rotor-cuff ? However you spell it, and the hats being there would likely take a lot of the strain off of my right shoulder, but then I'd be totally up in the air about the rest of my kit. However, if it were worth it to me, I'd set up my hats where yours are, but then "where on earth do you put your ride? Just very curious I guess, awesome band, awesome drummer.
