Excellent job man, but a word of advice, try to work smart not hard. 1. Edge sidewalks 2. Weedeat 3. Trim hedges 4. Cut grass along with all the clippings. Great job
I usually discharge towards the spots I just moved so the mower doesn't bog as much. Also helps keep the deck a little cleaner from wet grass building up.
I'm blown away as to how many guys do not correctly know how to run a mower and strip out a lawn. This was hard for me to watch. I almost set to start up my new company again after 12 years as a captain. Just wait.
Scag does good in thick tall grass cause they open there discharge shoot a tad wider then any other company the exmarks do better on dry thinner grass cause there shoot is smaller creating more flow
that is why proper management is your most valued tool. my guys do not ever miss a lawn, especially the day before a holiday like Independence Day ! i mean yes of course they want to get home and party, get ready for the 4 th. How can you forget or miss a lawn. you have a list, complete the list. simple ! if you have a crew you need systems in place and people to implement. at the end of the day if they had a miss or "forgot" you missed and forgot. it all goes back to the boss !
So digg'n the working before the kids get up.. I usually hit a commercial strip on Sundays, and get back home by 11ish.. Just in time for breakfast.. Cool joining you on your 4th.. Thanks
Damn that mulch kit surprised me. I wasn't expecting it to cut like that with such long and thick grass, let alone it being wet! And doesn't the BR700 shine with stuff like that too #power Hope your well man
Do you use a lawn sweep? My cousin use to do nothing but tall yards and would use one, definitely made a hell of a difference in the finish look of the yard. But great job 👍🏼
@@GwinnettLawns it was a attachment for a ridding lawnmower. It was connected to the back and when you passed over cut grass it "sweeps" it up. It had a bristle wheel that would rotate when the wheels are turning. It made cleaning up crazy fast. Pretty much took out the need to have a leaf blower.
Why those things weight so much ? They weight 15%- 20% more than other good stand-on mowers. Look at the Farris with the 37 HP Vanguard motor and the Mean Green Electric stand-on
Quality. Scags use 10 gauge steel for deck skirt, and 10 gauge with an 8 gauge plate on the top deck for mounting locations. They use 8 gauge steel for the front to back runners on top of the deck, Rollers aren't hollow like almost every other brand, The frames aren't stamped steel or angle iron, They are full tube frames. Next time you look at mowers, Pay attention to the spindles, Scag spindles are BEEFY. All that adds a ton of weight.
Wally. I broke down and bought a 94r 2 days ago with the new stihl speed feed. Loving it. My main trimmers this season and last season are 525s. Love them

Just a little tip, cut the hedges, pick up the bulk, blow the rest onto the lawn then mow it.
J3SUSCRYST we don't pick up and remove bull gras it any grass...I use a blower and feather it in.

looks awesome. those scags made short work of that lawn. 👍
Well I'm glad I'm not the only guy mowing yards by myself after my guys forget. 👍
J G nope you're not!

Always preferred it over straight shaft broski
