I had the same problem on my 2018 Enclave Avenir and the dealership fixed back in 2019. Your dealership should be aware of this TSB as it was released 4 years ago. Print this off and take in there and tell them to fix it: static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10186067-9999.pdf. Hope this helps.

Agreed. The side screams new Acadia, but the rear and front is reminiscent of the new Traverse. R/S Traverse is the best looking to me, this in Avenir trim is second. Acadia C and D pillar side profile I just can't stand, even though this is very similar.

    • @inducedapathy1296
      @inducedapathy1296 8 місяців тому

Side profile has been the same mostly since 2008. The Acadia is a cousin to the xt6 not the traverse or enclave. It used to be though until about 2012 2014ish. I had a 2012 Acadia. The new redesign turned it into a glorified five seater or six if you put small children in the back. Shame.

@@phatphuk2761Interior is way nicer in the Buick compared to the Traverse. IMO nicest interiors for GM in this category are right now
      1. Buick
      2. Cadillac XT6 (apparently it’s not getting a refresh)
      3. Acadia
      4. Traverse

So great to see GM FINALLY designing Buicks once again that honor their heritage of thoughtful luxury along with the power to move these gorgeous vehicles! Great American family memories are made in these cars! From someone who first rode in a black 64 Wildcat as a tiny girl, then took family trips in the never quit blue Electra around 72. My parents had a silver Park Ave in the early 90s, then my Dad's last car had the unbeatable, tough as nails 3800 V6 in his metallic silver Le Sabre (which I still use as my 2nd car lol). I also, as a young woman, loved my own 90 V6 Regal. Middle class Americans do not want EVs, cannot afford Cadillacs, nor do we want them. Buick has always been a fantastic, affordable choice for Americans but GM dropped the ball over the years by neglecting its GS racing heritage (turning off young people) and not updating stylistically. I am old enough to have witnessed this! But this Enclave is such a great step in the right direction in every respect! It's time 80% of Buicks are sold in America again- not foreign countries. Joe, you have made my morning with this beautiful new Buick!

I still have a positive view of Buick based on my experiences of travelling cross country in the 60's with the family in my Dad's '58 Buick...that thing was so big my Mom laid suitcases on the floorboard in the back seat and put blankets/sleeping bags down , it was like a queen size bed back there for me and my sister...great memories. Looks like Buick hit this one out of the park but I would like a V6 TT option with 400 HP.

Made in USA or at least put together here with same powerplant and transmission typically. Interior is still samey and was larger than the tahoe/yukon/escalade until the big redesign on those in 21 with the suspension where the solid rear axle ate up it's cargo since it's a truck.

We paid $62k for my '22 Enclave Avenir, before trade in on my '18 and discounts. I saw an uptick in pricing for the next 2 years coming out to where they are around $63-64k+. Adding in Super Cruise and the extras (not to mention the unknown ones) I'm going to assume it's near $70k+. At that point it might price me out of buying my 4th Enclave. Might have to go back to an Acadia now that they put it back to its original size for the most part. Which is a shame, as we love the Enclave and our family has had the last 3 designs, and my father has had 1 from each design.

I would have preferred the 3.6 option with a supercharger or turbo considering the avenirs run me around 60k. 310HP natty plus bring back the e85 flex fuel and toss a supercharger ala ultra park avenues or turbskis and this silly sport mode button I have my avenir might mean something.

Dang! The people at Buick who are responsible for this one deserve a big fat bonus and a raise! It’s nice to see BLUE-or anything other than black, gray or tan-in the interior!

Absolutely love it! This is now at the top of my list. Do you know if they’re going to offer a bench seat for the mid row? I’m not a fan of captains chairs, especially when there’s no console in the middle (personal opinion). Also, I heard you mention heated, ventilated and massage for the driver, is that for the front passenger as well?

Yes, the passenger seat on the avenir has the same features as the driver seat. The lack of center console and moving the cup holders to the rear of the front console is a better design and frees up more floor space, it's also nice to be able to put a small cooler or a diaper bag between the captain's chairs.

I purchased the Enclave and I don't even use the second or third row. I love it other than the squeaky front brakes. I have the 2018 Model Enclave since new of the lot, 36,000 Miles on it so far. I love the new looks, would definitely love making my home a two Buick car owner home with this model.

We've owned two Enclaves and we were fearful that the new 2025 Enclave would become another "truck" like the Traverse, however we LOVE everything we see on this video. We are excited to see that Buick will address the starving "luxury" market and can hardly wait to see and drive a new one of these Buicks! Looks very much like a winner! Thanks for your good video.

It's a little stiff for the average buyer! But it's reliable an is a smooth ride! I recommend that if you are in the market for a suv, than this may be it! Payments are stiff! But nice ride! Enjoy! Just my opinion! I'm middle class! I'm not rich!

Another stellar review, Joe. I'll definitely drive one of these before my next purchase when my lease on 2024 Mazda CX90 is up. I'm looking for a more comfortable ride than the CX90. I've driven a 2025 Genesis GV80 Advanced with 6 cyl turbo and 2025 BMW X7. Wondering if the 2025 Enclave Avenir engine noise with the 4 cyl turbo will be a deal killer.

I think it'd be in Buick's best interest to introduce a full-size SUV that acts as an in-between to the GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate and the Cadillac Escalade. Buick in its current form is the brand that sits between GMC and Cadillac. I guess the brands that I can best compare Buick to would be Acura, Mazda, and maybe Lexus where there's a sprinkle of both sport and premium style. I even have a few names for this potential full-size SUV for Buick. Of course, the name has to start with "En" and they are the Enlightener, the Enquirer, the Enquiry, the Enchanter, and the Enforcer. I personally think the Enquiry and the Enchanter are the two best names for this potential vehicle as it would be the flagship SUV Buick offers and would also be the most luxurious.

I like the idea of an upscale full size truck but the space between the top level Chevy / GMC and Cadillac is already pretty small. It would be tough to find the sweet spot that justifies the introduction of a new model. Not that many need 2 spd transfer case and heavy duty suspension for towing.
Whereas in the Mid-size 3 row crossover segment, the prices for the true luxury brands (BMW/Mercedes) are nearly double over the high level trims from mass market segment (Honda/Kia/GMC). There is a lot of space for the upscale brands (Lexus, Buick, Acura) to offer a an upscale version of a vehicle built on a mass market frame.
I was leaning towards the Lexus TX 350 but this video has thinking that we’ll wait for the new Enclave to come out to give it a look before pulling the trigger on the purchase.

Fun Fact: The 2025 Enclave, the 2024 Chevy Traverse, and the 2024 GMC Acadia all share the same door panels, unlike the previous generations. I would say this is cost cutting at work by GM. Now, is that a smart move or an easy way out? I'm curious to see thoughts out there 🤔

This is finally the GM vehicle I've been waiting for! Super cruise, massage seats, beautiful interior with full light color on the doors and center console instead of color at the top and black at the bottom like the ct5. I seriously think be a kid out of the ballpark on this one. I like the Chevy Traverse but it's not as upscale and no massage seats is a bummer. I think GM should be using the rear view cameras on the two side mirrors that show up with an image on the dash like Hyundai, that would be a nice touch. Great job Buick sign me up!
