Found the song on Rousseau piano channel (Check it out!!) and got inspired to make a metal piece of it.
It took some time to learn, and I still fluke here and there, but god. You try this s***...
No tabs available, but if this song takes off like Apassionata, I will post the Backing Track atleast.
So make sure to like and share! :D
Mats
I can imagine Chopin being a rockstar if he lives in this era
It is an honor to have you commenting on my video, Internet Explorer.
I spend way too much time thinking about specifically Chopin and what he would do with modern instruments
Internet explorer comment a year before this video dropped.
This is the best interpretation of a Chopin Etude on guitar, in my opinion. It’s not overly “metal-ized”. It’s just perfect
It's called neoclassical
Irreal picking movement, wow!!
wow that was fast! :D
Thanks!
It's in reverse
He does not use even 10% of his power 😂
It would mean the world to me if you could share the video!
Done.
That was amazing. There're a lot of Chopin Etudes that could probably be done on guitar - maybe "Revolutionary" or "Ocean". Also, you're hott. Been in love since Appassionata, my favorite sonata.
Yes especially winter wind
And try some more Bach
Classical and metal are just so compatible genres, as odd as some may think of it.
Your playing is phenomenal! Fantastic technique and flawless timing! You deserve at least a million viewers on this masterpiece.
Because metal from a bit of classical by their complexity
I'm a classical musician and you Sir have earned my respect. That was well executed! That was quality stuff right there. That and the accompaniment was dayuuuumm.... brilliant! I thoroughly enjoyed your performance!! Thank you for performance :)
I love the way you say you are a classical musician like it makes you better than other musicians. You just play the music of great composers. You didn't write any of it.
@@phoenixzappa7366 what a brilliant way to misrepresent my entire compliment and turn it into a micro aggression! Thank you for adding a perspective I never thought about in the first place. Most enlightening. I didnt know I had to assume classical musicians were somehow so far up their asses to think that they were somehow superior or as you put it better than every other musician that any honest heartfelt compliment coming from my department towards rock musicians meant a subtle mockery. I must feel so threatened! Here is this man playing a classical standard on a guitar that I personally know for sure is tough to play on the piano. This man played it on a freaking electric guitar with such skill clarity and musicianship fully knowing how infuriatingly difficult finger systems on strings can be and here is making magic happen and here you are sullying the whole vibe assuming what you did. Thanks for the Ted talk. I'm glad my standards intimidate you enough to throw contempt because your wrongful assumption not only stereotypes us classical folk but describes you pretty well. Guitar man you play on son. You have my undivided attention. You do more justice to music than Zappa.

😆
@@phoenixzappa7366 lol did a violinist dump you or something? He clearly just did that thing old people do where they state where they come from so other old people aren't confused about the context. Also the whole compliment is pretty sweet and the uptight asshole was actually the guy trolling him into lashing out as if you were a 14 y/ o bully. Get a life dude and listen to some chopin
@@ua6523 he meant that you are so high that your respect would mean that much to him. Like smh bruh nobody cares about your respect you probably still play fur Elise haha
This is the piece that made me want to buy a guitar. This is the reason why I need to start practicing again. I love Chopin's music so much.
Never thought I would headbang to Chopin
This video is criminally underviewed. You are a grandmaster of your craft for sure
This is insane. A mind-blowing cover on guitar.
Chopin Etude 10/4 in...D minor :P
But seriously, I regularly listen to your metal Appassionata. From the moment I clicked on this video I knew it was going to be good. You don't disappoint with metal renditions of classical pieces. Please keep doing more!
I was just playing this on piano and though "hey wait a second... I want to headbang the shit out of this". Thanks dude.
The best etude of Chopin in my opinion is “Torrent” and you made it really cool!
torrent and winter wind both top two
As a metal head that loves classical this is awesome. Liszt and Chopin are two of my favorites.
From the online music dictionary:
Dynamics - The loudness or softness of a composition. The term piano (p) is used to indicate softness and forte (f) to indicate loudness. Each of these is augmented if the letter symbolizing it is doubled or tripled (e.g. "pp" - "pianissimo", "very soft"; "ppp" - "pianississimo", "very, very soft"). Each is also lessened if proceeded by mezzo (m) (e.g. "mf" - "mezzo forte", "somewhat loud"). Also included in dynamics are the crescendo ("slowly growing louder"), decrescendo ("slowly growing softer"), and the sforzando ("sudden loudness").
this is sooooooooooo sick 0:31
Congratulations man, very well played! I started trying to work this one out on the guitar but threw in the towel before too long. Well done on completing this beast!
Dont give up my man!
Chopin making even guitarists work out
You're back with a vengeance!! :D Congrats for another quality rendition. More please!
Thank you thank you!
Dude, this is incredible! Awesome performance! You crushed it!
YOU ARE AWESOME
bro,your picking is crazy!
The right etude to make a metal version. You are brilliant, mate!
The fact that you can play this on a guitar is very cool, you should be proud!
I believe Chopin composed this shredding piece for electric guitar. Awesome dude 🤘
Dude, this is absolutely epic!! Very clean playing and excellent use of techniques, all while playing my favourite composer \m/
Great work, sounds great. This deserves more views
WOW! I had watched your Apassionata and Bach Concerto videos back in the day and was very sad that you hadn't made more of this type of thing. I decided to look for a guitar version of this today and there you were! Thank you so much for this!
Found an entire genre of Chopin guitar covers, like it a lot
Hi. Im a pianist and you never cease to amaze me. Just breathtaking and amazing.

Please make your music into MP3s. I will buy it if you do.
O_O BRAVOOO!!!!
You should play this at a classical piano concert😂
when you are a chopin fan but you are a guitar player :
1.25x speed is great
Been waiting too long for a new video!
I *love* your videos! :D
If you don't have tabs for this one, how'd you learn it?
And amazing playing as always!
I just downloaded the piano piece as a MIDI file and seperated the left hand vs the right hand. Trying to make something out of that, and it seemed to work out pretty well!
So literally learning it note by note. Doesn't take too long actually
Mats Kleppe That is quite impressive. I think another classical composer you could look into is Domenico Scarlatti. A lot of his keyboard sonatas would work really well for you, I think.
@@BryanHo thank you for recommending me Scarlatti! I have been checking out his k141, and considering creating a piece for it.
Please guide me to more of those types of pieces!
Mats Kleppe Definitely do it! I also think his K517 work work really well too. Keep up the great music! Your Beethoven Appassionata 3rd movement cover remains one of my all time favorite music videos on UA-cam. Also one to consider would be Beethoven’s Tempest Sonata 3rd movement.
@@BryanHo thank you so much!
can i ask your signal chain from guitar to ir ?

I hope that there's a tabs for this
