@@michaeldriedger8564 nice :) my old stomping grounds. Lived in the Bulkley Valley my first 20 years, miss the north, salt of the earth people...don't miss the hummingbird sized mosquitos though.
@@michaeldriedger8564 havent been fishing up there in years,Poplar Lake was our go-to as a family. But I still go up when I can for Grouse hunting along the Morice River road and various other backroads.
ya some of the smaller lakes we have caught some big fish my dad and grandfather have told be about some monster from back in the day. sadly many of them have been fished very hard so its getting harder and harder to find them. but there are still there. so many lakes to fish but so little time. Thanks for the comment
@@michaeldriedger8564 my favorite lake was up the nautley and was completely devastated by the fires a few years back. There never was many people who fished it and the bc forest stopped servicing the site. I have caught two trophies over the last 30 years in that lake, you wouldn’t think fish that big are in that lake. Unfortunately when I took a trip there last year the locals had signs up not allowing people on the land because of c19 protocols.
Love your videos! Thank you

The trophy lakers in that region are in the smaller lakes where the action is a lot slower.
