2 tbsp - Split Bengal gram
2 tbsp - Sesame
2 tbsp - Red lentils
2 tbsp - White Lentil
3 tbsp - Rice
2 tbsp - Wheat Flour
2 tbsp - Gram Flour

OMG the food is so sweet. My parrotlet must love it
I too have a few days old Alexandrian parrot and the seller guided us to feed soaked chana daal without grinding it. Can i now switch his food so that he gets all nutrients or it will affect his feeding patterns negatively? Also its winter, would it be advisable to change his diet now or i can do it starting with once in a day with the diet prescribed here and chana for the rest of the day?

But i cant get the white dal shown in the upper right corner so i made the paste without it and now feeding it to my baby cockteils

Hi,
It's not necessary that you use the same pulses that I have used in the video, you can use any type of the pulses that are available to you it is okay to feed.

Hi sir i have two question is this feed formula we can give to budgies baby from day one after hatching ? and 2nd is this also full fill the basic nutrition needs of budgies babies, they become healthy like as feed by their female budgie mother ?

I won't recommend this to budgies coz this might give them diarrhea but again I never tried it on them so It will be an experiment

I have a question please please please reply soon, I am raising a cockatiel chick on Australian feed, ( bought from market , it's a powder form ) want to make their feed at home, the question is that if I grind these pulses in a dried form and when it's needed make a mixture with hot water as I do with an Australian feed, this way the ground pulses could be used for longer period of time and also the method would be easy, should I do likewise.? Please reply.
Yes you can do this and it’s a good idea and will make your life bit easier just make sure powder is really thin and then put hot water and let it cool down to the room temperature and then use it

hi... I have a baby desi parrot... it is only been fed by Split Bengal gram (chana dal). can I change the feed what you described...? It is 25 - 30 days old. The person who I bought it from mentioned only to feed chana dal and not to feed any.... I'm really concerned about it. It poops semi solid green in color is it normal...? and always makes sound like a calling bell....?

Regurgitation/vomiting is a sign of illness and bad/damaged digestive system. You should give him Antibiotics or Antiparasitics or Anti-fungal medications while changing feed which you are already giving him.

Most often, it indicates a reproductive problem, abdominal fluid, tumors near the vent, or other serious internal issues. She may have a large amount of feces stuck behind an obstruction. Diet well certainly help, both with the underlying problem and with making the poop easier to pass. High-fibers food, the best being leafy greens, can help. Treatment for constipation like in people is NOT a good idea and may make the problem much worse.
Low calcium levels can be associated both with reproductive problems and with poor muscle contraction to expel droppings, and that is due to dietary deficiency. You can offer warm cooked rice, pancakes, cornbread, grapes, melon, greens in addition to normal food. Transport as soon as possible.
Pet/feed store medications and home remedies are harmful, ineffective, immuno-suppressive, and make them much worse.
