- The previous owner left it at the shop for dead after receiving a $4,000 repair estimate. I scooped it up and may have fixed this Ugly Duckling for free!
Was this a case of misdiagnosis, negligence or a rip off attempt?
A brake job, a water pump and a deep detail help bring this car to market.
SPOILER, it sold quick!
Nice to see you back Josh 👍🙂👍🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧
As Josh works his way into posting more videos regularly this channel is gonna blow up. I loved this guy on WatchJRGo and I love his content here. He’s got a dry humor and practical approach to everyday cars that everyone can relate to that just works. The UA-camrs that start like this, blow up and then suddenly they’re doing Aventadors and P1’s l lose what made them fun to watch when every video turns into a 20-40 minute long commercial for their merch with ad reads and the like to try and get every buck they can. Josh, Jr, Samcrac, and some others are the real ones.
Agreed!
Hope all is well! miss ya out here
That is the perfect car for the masses. Transportation to work, shopping, errands, etc. Our 2009 Ford Escape has just been hit and left damaged in a parking lot for the third time. Mechanically it's in excellent condition; the interior looks good, but the exterior is banged up. Why not just get a vehicle that will get you everywhere you need and not worry about it?
Man, watching the extractor is equal parts satisfying and disgusting. :D
Try smelling it 😂
Loved the wet sanding! 😂
Great job! This gave that car a new life!!!!!
Great job sanding, guys! Hahaha. Naw nice to get a new video from ya! Always feels good to clean up a car even if you can't get it 100% due to bad body work and such.
There isn't a vacuum invented that can pull 100% of the taco tuesday farts out of car seat foam and upholstery.
That rear seat looked even nastier than the driver's seat! Maybe the camera adds 10 lbs to car seat grime :P
With how much came out of the interiour you could say you did some weight reduction.
Also, it feels nice to watch a video like this *after* some wrenching, makes me feel less guilty. (FYI, faucets and hard water make for a fun day)
Nice garage!
I really enjoyed this video. Keep more of these flips coming!
You can use a hot steamer on bumper to help take dents out of it.
I gagged a little when you mentioned chocolate milk recipe
Interesting video.
That cleaned up pretty good. I think I would have went with a satin or flat black on the mirrors but that's just personal preference.
Frankly I agree. However, reality is gloss black and gloss clear is all I had laying around the shop.
What ever happened to the bronco II you were working on and doing the body work too??? Would love to see that finished.
The Bronco is coming back to the channel very soon. Suspension rebuild, wheels/tires and a paint job.
Great video, what kind of lift is that? Looks like It can go in almost any garage
Nice job!
Josh!
Solid content!
So many of your car's to ask about. But I'll only ask about the one: How's the Bronco going? 😃
Tons of parts on hand.
Unfortunately, no time to do any work.
@@TheFracturedRooster I know what that can be like.
How is the new house and the garage going? Is JR going to "move" in with you when you get the garage finished?
It's moving along slowly. In order to save 20%-30%, I opted to General Contract the build. Which has shown us down a little due to my lack of knowledge on processes.
vinyl wrap it.
Pour boiling water on that bumper ding.
I cannot see anything wrong w the paint or doors… I wouldn’t bother with all the body work… they buyer is just looking for a cash car that functions as you have done and said…car looks great though guys
No drilled and slotted rotors? What kinda hack job is this?!
"The uglier one"
Mmmmm. Human arm skin soup.
