- Pressure canning Sloppy Joes! In my video I added Venison , the recipe is for ground beef
This is a great addition in my pantry , it’s great to grab a jar and some buns to take for lunch !
This recipe is from Angi Schneider book Pressure Canning for Beginners and Beyond
4 lbs ground Beef
2 c chopped onions
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
3 c ketchup ( I used chili sauce )
4 tbsp brown sugar
4 tbsp apple cider
4tsp ground mustard seeds
I opened a pint jar since this video ,,,,,, it was perfect , not too sweet , and perfect flavor ! I’m going to can up much more of this , off camera ! One of the best canning recipes I’ve done !
Yum! So many foods are better left-over when the seasonings get the chance to marry.

I can’t find pint and a half jars anywhere! Maybe estate sales or thrift stores? But pints are enough to feed just myself. I also have Angi’s book. The “simple baked beans” have received rave reviews, so I need to can up more of those. Thanks for the demonstration ❤
where did you get that funnel? Does it hold it up off the jar so air can escape?
