When you are doing the adjacent crafts in the bottom left of the graveyard, you need to buy all additional item craft corpses of the same type right (construct, beast, etc)? Because adjacent only helps the specific corpse type right?

hi @crouchingtuna! Thank you for the build guide/showcase. I'm working on crafting the armour pieces but don't want to do any additional crafting. Is there a layout for those recipes without the additional crafts?
is there a path to increase damage further from the pob? Is going crit an option?

Hey tuna, where do you get your frenzy charges?
As i started this on a 60 div budget and got it going, t16 is fine, but simu on the later waves and juicier content like beyond and t17 stuff is a no go for me, is nimis the first thing to buy as return proj is a dmg reduction for split steel in general or MB first?
You could still run with HH and blast so I suppose get that and nimis then work towards mb

I am looking to make a new build in std, I have mageblood, nimis and perfect adorned in std, could I replicate this build or is the gear just not obtainable without the crafting graveyard mechanic?
You can definitely replicate it but it might be really expensive cos STD market is a bit dead

I dont know if u coveree this in the video but how are you able to get res capped with all this gear?! Im sitting at about 30-50 res depending on which type it is
Mage blood constantly applies flask effects and he has increased res on flasks which I think boosts him over cap, im too lazy to look at the passive tree fully but there might be something there
@@YoungOneJim yep its the cluster jewels. veterans defender there is 45% to all res with all 3 clusters
I have a question, Smite is importat gem on this build ? its give (passive) lightning damage without using Smite? on this moment i just replace smite for Enhance support to sniper's mark , and mark on hit. and pantheon Soul of Gruthkul or Tukahoma is more op for this build ??
and one more question, is worth replace aw. lightning penetration to aw. Elemental focus ?
what stats should be prioritized on the watchers eye? I cannot find one triple rolled for sale

Seems to me that you don't have enough mana to cast all 3 curses together when using focus? Am i missing something here? Thank you for the guide, love the build.

This splitting steel build is absolutely insane, been clearing t17's like they are t1's, only modifier i avoid is increased monster health and extra monster shield which is purely just so my runs are faster (taking about 4 mins to fully clear a t17 atm) if you want a build for fast and easy t17's then this is it
How were you able to get capped res using his gear? I have exact same everything and maybe at 45 all res and that's not going to be anywhere near good enough
@@wisconsincrhunter5614his res comes from Veteran defender notable (3x), Atziri’s reflection, and Rainbow suffix on a Mageblood flask
Why are the Adorned breakpoints 146? I understand 150 (obviously) and 138 is for 8% ES, but at 140% you get the breakpoint for 5% attack speed as well. Neither of these get another breakpoint until 150, so I'm confused why we are aiming for 146?
140% (2.4x jewel stats) then 150%. i'm not sure 146% either.
Hi Tuna, How did you survive the shaper slam at 6:33?
It deals 18250 to 27375 Physical Damage. I saw in your pob that you cannot take the hit without Immortal Call. And there should be nothing to trigger your CWDT at that moment.
Didn't do anything special, it does half my hp unless it high rolls.
@@CrouchingTuna So for the roll that is higher than 51%, you will die? I was thinking if the CWDT Immortal Call trigger DURING the slam damage.
@@kuromi5879 I'm a bit late, but CWDT doesn't apply to the hit that procs it for any of the guard skills, it's just for anything afterwards. Also phys dr from endurance charges will help to mitigate a chunk of the damage taken as phys. Lastly, the roll on the shapers slam probably won't matter as long as you're full which is most likely always true for when you will be hit by the slam, it'll just deal a bit more of the shield's hp then it normally would on a 100% roll maybe even with crit would probably be fine with a max roll depending on if there's another source of phys dr.

@@CrouchingTuna yeah i swapped to hollow it was better than trying to use splitting steel from lyoney watch, btw i almost perfectly copied your build excepted some min maxing but all item are the same now i'm lvl 97 but i tried two t17 map (one with shrine xp atlas / one with deli harbi beyond) both map i got destroyed without any time to react, so i wanted to ask what are the t17 mods to always avoid with this build ?

I had no problem with any of the Uber bosses and you can't run very few mods, no leech, no regen, less recovery, -max as well as Phys reflect. Hope I'm not forgetting any.

@@CrouchingTuna Hello hello! Reporting here after i made the build. I've destroyed every single uber boss and t17 bosses too. Amazing build. For people with+500 divines, i totally recommend it! Ty tuna.
@@kbennin3654hey, what about mods on t17? Less defence, cannot suppress, union of soul and other previously mentioned mods, like phys reflect, cannot regen, recover, recharge, -max res. What other unpassable mods should I avoid?
@@nikol4485 in my time playing with this build i can say that is not the best for certain farm strats in t17 tbh, but you can regex all those you mentioned and go for boss rush t17 bosses. But i recommend uber farming, you can tank almost every boss, and destroy them.
A lot of T17 mods brick the build.

Is like 160 div plus nimis enough to get started on this? I don't really want to sell my Mirror phys bow off my MF lA char
for pre-adorned setup, yes, as long as you already have a mageblood handy.

and what mods on maps is he afraid of? for example: cannot regen?
no regen is fine because you are always leeching. no leech and phys reflect are ones to avoid.

Kudos to Tuna for keeping it real and leaving the deaths in. Don’t worry we Al know tier 17 is the hardest content in the game.
So, I've been trying to wrap my mind around why this build is tanky, especially in regards to physical damage. Can someone please explain how this build tanks big physical hits?
CI; there's a few sources of phys taken as chaos and energy shield reduce phys damage. pantheon has phys damage reduction too.
most comes from Arctic Armor = 21% less physical damage taken while stationary, Immortal call = 27% less physical damage taken + plus extra 45% less physical damage taken if 3 endurance charges are consumed by Immortal Call

how do you craft the 3 mod jewels?
low lvl cluster jewels or just pay 10div for each one^^
I know this video is a month old, but i for the life of me cannot figure out why you have Precision as a skill when you dont play crit (at level 1 i might add). its both on the description POB and also in your google doc POB.

It's to enable watchers eye mods. If you don't find a watchers with precision mod you can skip it.

you only need +1 charge if you swap in punishment with the other 3 curse (mark, weakness, and conductivity)
This reminds me of Lance's immortal tricster last league a bit
I'd say that this reminds me more of Steelmage's Splitting Steel Trickster last league. Yes, he made one lol
You have an issue with the curses in the head. You don't have enough mana to cast all three at the same time and as you see above the bosses only conductivity and eleweak are there, punishment is never cast. I followed the build and I solved this by taking some suppression on the bottom of the tree and replacing the suppression with rmr on the chest. Eventually best to solve with more adorned rmr implicits I guess.

@@Pedram_Aphotic I mean reservation efficiency. Used to be called reduced mana reservation, rmr for short.
you're always leeching and always have full mana, i have like ~6.5% mana which is enough to cast focus. i'm running quite a bit rmr and mana reservation jewel so i can have perma haste up as well.
@nevous8 Yea the mana is full but if full is not enough to cast all 3 curses then they are not being used

where do the frenzy charges come from
frenzy charges come from Mark Mastery on the tree (10% chance to gain a Frenzy Charge when you Hit your Marked Enemy)
No way near that rich, but farming feared had a near perfect atziri's reflection drop, and farming delve had 4 of the delve vaal aspects drop, one gave me a 149% adorned, so I had to make it.
Can play without mb and atziri shield ?
yes, definitely - did all content without; nimis is necessary tho, otherwise dmg will be meh

Nimis + mageblood and resolut technique sword then you can self craft all the pieces. You can buy a lower % adorned first and work your way up.

I think nimis adds a lot of damage. Also, do you have mageblood? That is another problem you might have

if you are a crafting god you might be able too, but MB nims and the jewel what makes the guild insane

It's pretty damn expensive because of the unregulated economy and price fixers, as well as content creators promoting certain builds.
Rage Vortex is a nice example now that mbxtreme wanted to play it

i made the gear for this like a week ago and all I can say is get a mageblood before trying this it feels pretty bad otherwise. also blade trap was not the play lol.
Why you use artic armor and precision?
Precision for watcher, increased attack damage. Arctic armour - less phys damage taken while stationary (u r stationary while spamming RMB), reducing enemy action speed

This is bait build dude , he has mirror tier shit all over it. Many of the items are 80 plus divs , good luck getting synth jewels , this is for people that are filthy rich and know all the ins and outs of the game , not for someone on 10 div.

almost every item on this build costs about the same as a mageblood
@@clyp3016not even close. Weapon 10d, shield 35d, amulet 2d, Nimis like 100 div, Mageblood is 130ish. The rares are pretty cheap with the graveyard as well. The adorned with a decent roll is like 50d but you don’t need that to get started.

wtf I'm looking at the pob and I have NO IDEA where tuna is getting his res from. Like aside from the MB theres just 0 ele res on any piece of gear. WTF.
are you blind ? he has all res on the flask at nearly 100% increased cuz magebloodflask so around 40 all res, then there are 30 on the shield he has 3 times veteran defender on the clusters 15% each and 4 endurance charges
Mageblood with res flask + shield + endurance charge
In PoB, if you go to calcs, you can hover over resists to see where all the resists are coming from (can do the same for every stat that's shown in calcs)
