I really don't know why you think Quattro Bajeena is Char Aznable. Clearly he isn't. He even says he definitely isn't multiple times. Quattro, like Char, is a very reputable person who would NEVER try to deceive anyone... (Jokes aside, great video)
How the hell did Char cum up w/ "quattro bajeena"..... Well he certainly didn't buy a quarter-bag and find the last name "hilarious" 🤣 who would believe that? The name ITSELF is more believable people.... Cmon
Char: Guys why do you look like me? Char Clones: like minds think a like We Guess Char: Boys I have an Idea I'll Call Amuro and see how he reacts Char Clones: LMAO
I think something that makes Zechs stand out is that, while very much a remade Char, he's also something of a remix. He's got a similar arc, but the order is different. The way I see it - Lightning Count Oz Ace / MSG Red Comet Char, almost 1:1 "Ambassador Peacecraft" / Dakkar Speech Casval Deikun. Both at their most optimistic, and identify themselves with their birth names (even if it might all be for the sake of presentation) White Fang Millard(o) / CCA Char - Obvious similarities, but Zech's motivations are very different. Char's lost faith in humanity and wants to put an end to the conflicts through force, while also settling things with his rival because it's a movie. Zechs is only in the role because he wants to be the last person in such a role. He has tremendous optimism in mankind - that if given a "war to end all wars" that peace would eventually triumph. He takes on the mantle of the enemy of the world so that the world can no longer have enemies. Pretentious? It's Wing, of course it is. But I like it way more than Char's largely underdeveloped turn. And lastly... Quattro / Protector Wind - a flimsy pretext secret identity just so he can help out and do the thing he's best out without the baggage of being "himself". Honestly, I think Zechs's arc is stronger, even if Wing's pacing could often feel haphazard. Of course, Wing's writers had the benefit of a decade of stories to look at for inspiration.
Unlikely Char Clones: I want to shout out Commander Farsight, the Char Clone from Warhammer 40k. Yes, the one with the Space Marines. He's known as "Da Red Komit" by the orks, he is the dictator of the militarist/seperatist Farsight Enclaves (Separating from the Tau Empire, not the Imperium,) and his army colour is Blood Red. ...He also appointed this young defector girl called Torchstar to the highest war council in his nation, which is... A little weird, now that I've noticed Char's particularities. Dunno if that was intentional though, pfft. There's a Char Clone called Elder in Steambot Chronocles on PS2. The game has a nostalgic 1900s setting, and man... At some point, someone on staff really looked at this game and went, "Hey, you know what the 1900s equivalent of Zeon is?" You know, kudos to them. Game gets heavy in the second half with a militarized political uprising. The game's Char Clone of course shows up around then. The most pathetic Char Clone ever is probably Sprout Cloverleaf, from uhh... My Little Pony: A New Generation, of all things. He's the son of a woman who essentially runs a town called Maretime Bay from her combination weapon/fashion factory. Sprout is the town's deputy, and is characterised as being generally pathetic, jealous, and needy of his mother. What makes him a Char Clone? When given the absolute barest amount of power, he immediately starts buying his own propaganda, whips up the town into declaring him emperor, puts on a pair of glasses and a generalissimo hat, and puts that factory to work by making himself a really shitty red mech which he fights the protagonists with. I have no idea if this was some kind of intentional reference or just accidentally a Char, but heck, he... sure is something. I guess it wouldn't be the weirdest thing My Little Pony has referenced. ...There's also a Char Clone in MS Saga, the PS2 Gundam RPG. Of course there is, pfft.
imo I feel like Prospera is the only true Char clone in G witch. Everyone else seems to take after other gundam antagonists or share a lot more traits with actual Char clones from other Gundam shows. Ellan takes after Ribbons Almark from 00, Shaddiq remind me of McGillis Fareed Guel kinda feels like Graham Aker
Eh if were gonna do this, Prospera was super Char like, Elan was a mess, 4 was Lockon, 5 was Allelujah, and OG was Ribbons, He was also similar to Puru too. Shaddiq reminded me more of Zechs than McGillis, but like a crappier Zechs, He had the most Char Traits of the three boys though. It was probably the Hair but Guel reminded me of Chibodee.
I think since Katejina and Chronicle are kind of a duo for a while they both together serve as a char clone together in a sort of “what if char was split in two” sense. Katejina could represent his obsession
For what it's worth, I think Rusty in Armored Core 6 is a bit of a Char Clone. He's definitely a Kingdomless Prince in that he's a Rubiconian and he's joined up with Arquebus only to gain influence, power and find a way to destroy them from the inside. He's not evil though...and he's not even sociopathic, if anything he's one of the most pure hearted characters, but as far as certain character tropes and parts of his character arch it reminds me of Char a lot. He's sort of our buddy at parts and then becomes our nemesis for a good part of the story too and ultimately he turns again Arquebus.
It's great! A fair few of the more popular Gundam games have let me down recently...Gundam Evolution and even Gundam Battle Operations 2 on PC...while GBO2 has some very fun moments and you feel badass and like everything makes sense, it still feels sluggish and unwieldy in the UI, the graphics, the terrible servers, and all that. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the different mobile suits and other aspects of that game but it just feels so entirely dated. Armored Core 6 feels mostly seamless, the fighting is definitely FAST PACED and your mech can go insanely fast if you want it to but it has tons of room for finesse, thought out attacks, and immense room for customization. Online battles are fun as well to test out your builds against other players' builds, teamfights are especially fun. AND THERE ARE FUNNELS what more could you ask for.@@Myuutantobasuta
