I installed the same CVTech primary on my can-am outlander and it’s just as smooth, it’s also whisper quiet. But man, the power gains I get from it is incredible. Stock can-am clutches are very flawed and inefficient. Stock clutches were full shift out @7300rpm. My calibrated CVTech primary has a full shift out of 8300rpm so the V-twin just screams and it loves it! Performance wise, my stock 650 outlander made 46ish at the wheels, with a tune, exhaust, and CVTech primary w/Dalton yellow/blk secondary spring I saw 56HP at the wheels, nearly 10hp gain at the wheels. To compare, a stock 850 outlander makes about 53WHP.
Can you also help with clutch tuning after 30" tires? Is there more that's needed? My unit is new and I hate it. It feels slippy, jerky, and I've already slipped the belt once. It makes me question if mine is like everyone else's, I feel like I might've got a lemon. Also have a bad resonating noise in the cab.

It’s not really something they can fix. It’s hard to explain. The way they have the clutch tuned will work for everyone not one person. A factory can’t tune a clutch like we can for each individual rider.
Does it mattee where u put the mark so long as the mark lines up on the two peices? Does it matter if the first part u marked turns when taking the 32mm nut off? Im assuming not, just as long as i line my marks up?
I have a 2023 1000 xl, I've experienced no jerkiness, but i have seen many on here speak of it, i find mine no different than the polaris ranger 800 I use to drive, is it just something that happens on an odd occasion or is it the norm?

That spring and weight combination isn’t correct for that unit. The spring is too stiff and the weight is too heavy. Our primary kit alone will make it silky smooth. Our springs are designed my me to my specs just for CFMOTO to deliver that smoothness and get that power at the same time.
I just installed the primary kit. Pretty simple when you follow directions. If you mark the case wrong you can use a dental mirror to find the mark on the clutch housing. P.S. don’t forget to put the new spring in before closing up. Lol called RNG a few times and the were very helpful. Thanks

I have a question for you. I’d like to know if you heard the same thing as I did from a dealer here in Canada. I was told next year they will be bringing the uforce sxs out with the 800 in it. So you can either have the 600 or 800 in that machine. He said they are stopping the production of the uforce 800 that is out now. And just going to put it in the utility one(the one that resembles the ranger 570)
In Canada they have been offering huge discounts on a few models since early spring - I can only assume they are clearing out stock for new/revised models - I'm holding off on a decision til I see whats coming! I liked the 800 better because I thought it looked better and I like the bucket seats but it was to wide for what I wanted it for so I got the 600. It fits through all the gates on our property and the 800 wouldn't have. But I'm happy with the 600 just need to get the RNG clutch to get rid of that darn jersey. I need to be able to go slow and it's hard the way it is now.
I just bought a new 2023 Uforce this week and I am so dissapointed that I bought it. Right off the bat, the shifting is horribale when and if I can shift it. The clutch is the worst one I ever experianced. It will jump like it's a frog. I sure wish you lived in Northern Maine where I could drop this peice of junk and have you fix it.
Not necessarily. All brands and models should be clutched out of the box. Trust me. These manufacturers don’t clutch them that great. I’ve been in this game all my life. And every machine out there is detuned on one way or another.
Any time I buy something especially high ticket and immediately have to spend more time and money to fix something that should have come off the factory floor that way is a huge turn off to me.

No. That is not correct. I make my own kits. Made by me manufactured to my specifications. Main Street clutch kits are made by a 3rd party making them a middle man. Their kits come from Finland. Mine are made by us in America. 🇺🇸. We tune out own and design our own parts.

Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, Polaris all have these same needs. They all come with flimsy arms in hopes you don’t upgrade and you keep giving the brand your money. Upgrade never worry about it again and save money in the long run.

I put the 1017 spring and 20g weight on my g2 800 trail and it helped with the jerkiness. Would your secondary spring smooth it out more?

The clutch will be out of balance can crack, come apart etc etc

Our XL don’t have a limiter in low without seat belt. And this one didn’t have a limiter in high. Only in low.
