I just purchased and installed this kit so here is my unbiased opinion! We purchased our 800 XC about 1 month ago. It has around 60 mi on it. BEFORE installing the iron Baltic stage 1 kit, it was a very herky-jerky clutch with "breakneck" takeoffs and lunges. As their literature that comes with this kit states it "greatly reduces harsh takeoffs" that is putting it mildly! This is honestly the kit that should come with it from the factory. Most people are not going to be out mud bogging or doing the crazy things you see others on UA-cam doing. We just want a four-wheeler that will have a smooth takeoff, good acceleration, and a smooth ride (especially for our passengers on a 2 up). THIS KIT DELIVERS on those requests! I highly recommend getting their clutch holding fixture, Even though it's $125. I think it's the only way that you can get the bolts torqued back adequately. All the other Jokers you see on UA-cam using cordless impacts are crazy as they are not able to torque these bolts to factory spec and they're just guessing at the torque. I could go on and on, but it has taken me from wanting to take this four-wheeler back to the dealership and traded in on something else (due to the aforementioned issues with harsh engagement and herkie jerky starts), to actually wanting to keep it and ride it! Good job iron Baltic!
@@mozez80sweYes! It has made it a truly usable and fun to drive machine! I would also get my ECU reprogrammed as well. That has also made a world of difference as far as drivability.
One more thing! Someone asked about the weight of the variator weights. Here's what I measured: The OEM weights that came out of my machine each weighed 16 g. The iron Baltic stage 1 clutch weights weighed 17 g each and were of a different composition in metal. The spring from iron Baltic was approximately 3/4 of an inch to 1 in shorter than the OE spring. Whatever the combination they came up with it works.
I'm trying to learn all this before I pull the trigger on. buying a cmoto uforce 1000. What exactly does the clutch holding tool do? He removed it anyway when he turned it over to replace the weights.
Hello, thank you for this very clear and detailed video. I would like to know the weight of the motor and transmission. Does anyone have this information?

Thank you for the review. I bought a 850 Cf and it tries to give me whiplash everytime i launch it.
Are you still satisfied?

You make me want this kit for my cforce 1000!! Does it lower the rpm at the same speed? The no predictable take off is very difficult for me
@@Pajero.m57 rpm seems to still remain constant. Just no harsh engagements!
@@jedmetzler7125 thank you. I ordered the stage 1 kit today 💣💣

Dude, what weight amd spring measures should I use to set up my cforce600 touring 2020 to stage1.
Nothing about marking the plates so you'll know exactly how it goes. Very informative.
Cool video , I hope to install that kit on my C Force 600 soon
is this kit available for cfmoto 520L 2023?

Does this work for uforce 600 as well??
My primary clutch don’t slide off like that. I have both bolt and nut removed. It seems to be stuck….
Hello! I found a stage 1 clutch kit on sale for a cforce 1000, available in my country. Will it fit on my zforce 1000 2018? Thanks!
Anyone know where to get the tool they use to hold the primary clutch from spinning?
Good evening, where can I buy the variator lock key?
What do these kits do, compared to stock?
hello what is the weight of varitor weights in stage 1 and stage 2
When you say standard tires, do you mean 26 inches, it's the cf850xc gen2 2024
Hi. Thanks for the useful video. Is this variator pattern sold anywhere? Or did you make it yourself?
Why are videos always inverted? These are right hand threaded , he is torquing like left hand ?
It’s not inverted, they are reverse threaded on primary clutch. He said that.
