Absolutely love the brewery you have there! Would love that clean and tidy environment. Heard you bumped into my mate Lance at the festival today! Hope you had a blast 🍻🍻🍻
Yeah, we had a great chat while waiting for our pizzas. Good guy 😁 Hope we all catch up again soon at another festival maybe ✌️ Festival video coming up soon.
looks great! Love the setup! Only major thing I would add would be shelving for the grains to get them off the floor for both moister/condensation as well as little critter protection. Wish I could stop by for a pint! Cheers!
I would gladly serve you a pint! Yeah the shelving for the grains is something we co sidered already, as it might not pass inspection. I don't think condensation should be an issue, the bags havea plastic liner inside.
Looks awesome, I'm kind of the same size setup but with only a 1/2 barrel system. The only quick hints I have are that a baking sheet is great to use under the cannular to pick up all the overflow and a quick strip of duct or packing tape at the edge of the cannular splash guard traps a lot more of the spray from canning. I'm jealous of the duofiller and trying to figure out if I get one soon or wait for the kegland one. Cheers!
Hey, thanks for commenting, this way I found your channel and subscribed. Also thanks for the tip for the splash guard (seen your video now). I heard it's not the best, but at least we got it in a bundle. The kegland filler looks like a great option, really like the screen. Shame it's a single filler only. We bottled a batch with the duofiller and it works well, but you need a device on standby to adjust fill time (if you are filling by set time) as your vessel empties. There's always a bit of variation in temp or pressure or something 😅 Basically we had a laptop connected to the duofiller and adjusted it on the fly.
I'm glad we had to do a floor from scratch, it gave us the opportunity to install the drain. Can't imagine working without it. Although I kind of wish we installed a wider one for easier cleaning of the drain.
NO WAY. EVEN THE TOILET PAPER!!! Well thats next level brewery😂. Good one. Really like the build and wish i had some room to build small one. Its pain to unpack, repack and store every time i brew😢
😅😅 I knew someone will appreciate the presence of toilet paper 😅😅 I know dude, after a long brew day and even longer cleanup the last thing you want is to pack everything away, just to take it all out the next time. What setup do you have?
@@twolittletanks Just very basic BIAB with immersion chiller. Ferment in a bucket and carb in the bottle. I can make great beers but havent had luck with Neipa due to oxidation (i now have read that some long time bottling people have sucsess so currently i have one fermenting to try again with extreme care). And thats one of the reason i am thinking to start kegging. Also sounds less work. But then again i have no room for all that stuff, i give out alot off bottles (prob 2/3) and i also like to condition few bottles for long term.
@@ThisguyLeftthechat i also started with BIAB on the stove top. Later changed to the cheapest electric all in one brew kettle. That was a massive improvement for about £250. Still fermented in buckets and bottle condition. Using kegs is another big step, easier and less work (especially hated the washing of bottles) but at that point you need a way to cool down a whole keg, you need co2 and regulator, you need tap to dispens and also kot as easy to give away. NEIPA is a very tuff style to make on a homebrew level. So many requirements. Proper cold crash, no oxigen dryhop and transfer... Just a headache.
Good question! I am interested as well, but will have to sit down and do the maths at one point. We'll probably do an episode about costs and figure out if we can truly call our brewery a budget one.
@@twolittletanks ok. Im off to Bucharest in two weeks but its only a couple of days so I will not be in Targu Mares. Just wanted to check if you guys where close to Bucharest.

Nice job guys you took a derelict building and turned it into a gem. Now how bout sending some beer across the pond to me here in western New York 👍🏻🍻
Once we start canning it will be possible but probably would cost an arm and a leg 😅
Nice brewery. good luck from Norway
Thank you! Cheers 🍺😁
Great work !!
Thanks 😁

That looks so great! Very interesting, may I ask the approximate cost of all those gadgets and equipment?

🔥🔥🔥 Congrats lads!
Thanks 😁✌️
Congrats!!! 😎🍻🥳
Thank you 😁 I take it you like the way it turned out?
Totally, looks very cozy and also great for having some beers on site! @@twolittletanks
Beers straight from the fermenter. Best thing ever, especially if it's so close to home 😅

Nice! What are the sizes of those brew kettles?
200L to the rim. With the steam condenser mounted to the side we can brew 165L
It was about time! 😅
It was indeed!
missing one more fermenter
Hopefully we can afford another one of these soon!
Where are you guys located? Which town?
We are in Targu Mures

congrats!!! opening party is in order! cheers !! p.s. how is the authorization for selling process going? is it still very hard to do?
Thanks!
Yeah, it's pretty complicated and time consuming. It feels like they don't want you to do it.
