    Information from me:
    This is a review of the Ecoflow Next Generation 220 watt portable solar panel, along with a re-review of the Ecoflow Delta 2 that I reviewed last year.
    The Ecoflow next gen 220 watt solar panel is a fantastic upgrade to my original Ecoflow 220 watt bi-facial solar panel.
    The Ecoflow Delta 2 is just an absolute powerhouse and I have had absolutely no issues with it over the last 12 months.
    I have used it both out in the field on fishing trips, and I have used it a lot at home as a back-up power supply and to take the edge off my power bill.
    The more devices I can run and charge from the sun instead of mains power the better.

    I’d love to add one of these to my camping and car setup however that price point is unreal when compared to a conventional generator! However over time of course it would make up for it when you consider fuel but nonetheless they are pricey

    • @robbiefishing
      @robbiefishing  10 днів тому

      They certainly are pricey there no doubt about that, they're also very convenient. If you have both you can charge this with your generator. Haha 😂😂

    You put that information together very well. I'm in my mid 60s and my eyes tend to glaze over at anything past the On/Off switch :) But your information was excellent. I do know that all electrical devices run on smoke! Once the smoke comes out they never work again :P

    Completely off the subject. I have asked this question on a previous vid which I discovered after was an old one. My apologies .
    I notice that you use running rigs and paternoster rigs . What factors influence your choice of which rig to use? Does one type catch say more yellas or carp or Redfin?

    The regular Lithium ion is much different from the newer Lithium iron phosphate (li fe po4) Lithium ion was the first but now it is Lithium Iron Phosphate. Lithium = Li, Iron = fe, Phosphate = Po4.

      Yep, and the LifeP04 is much safer, more stable and can be recharged a lot more times.
      I bet we never see it in mobile phones. LOL They want them to die so that we have to buy new ones all the time.

      @@robbiefishing I'd look into it. The wring connectors look the same as all other panels and I'm pretty sure when they add more panels on a boat they plug them into each other. The internal solar charging controller would be the only issue I think. If it's only rated to 220? I'm not sure but worth investigating. cheers.

    @T.J-and-Soul 10 днів тому

    Mate you should have accepted the new charging product. It's quite simple, the 12v cigarette socket 8n your car will ony put out about 15 amps. The unit they offered you will connect straight to your car battery and chrage the ecoflow straight from the alternator at a much higher amperage. Contact them and ask for the product, get an auto electrician to fit it or watch some videos on how to install it. Then you can easily do a product review by running the ecoflow to zero and then go for a drive up to Lake Buffalo or somewhere to see how long it takes to charge. Have you ever charged your phone in the car and noticed it takes ages, but at home in the house it will charge in under 30 minutes? Same thing. The cigarette socket just does not supply a big amount of amps.

    • @robbiefishing
      @robbiefishing  10 днів тому

      Haha as much as I would love to own one, I just don't understand all of that technical stuff. It would look non authentic for me to try and talk about things that I don't really know about. 👍👍

    • @T.J-and-Soul
      @T.J-and-Soul 10 днів тому

      @@robbiefishingyou don't need to understand more than the alternator puts out more amps than the cigarette socket. You just need to show how fast it charges from the cigarette socket compared to the other gadget.

      You're not wrong mate, it's amazing. I have a feeling that it is not compatible with the Delta series though.
      As much as I wanted the unit, it was just way above my skillset. If I'm going to make a video on that I at least need to understand volts, Amos, watts etc... LOL
