Little pro tip if you going to plug your rv into this. Make sure you set your gas/electric fridge to gas only mode. You'll waste a ton of power if you dont. Second thing you need to do is find the breaker in your power box that feeds the RVs 12 volt converter and flip that off. With those two things done you'll most likely see little to no power draw from the ecoflow. On my trailer it says 0 watt load when im not activly using things like the microwave or TV
Some how I was able to catch the Delta 2 with the alternator charger and a “free 200w solar panel” for $993 delivered (all 3). I checked the Father’s Day specials and those didn’t even touch that price… I can’t wait to get it properly installed and add it to my Ecoflow 1300…. Good vid
I bought a 12v cigarette male/male plug that I can run my teardrop trailer with. Just disconnect the battery and plug this in to a 12v socket. It runs my fridge, max air fan, and lights all simultaneously. It’s nice to have just for extra off grid power if needed.
"I'm not going to open the. Manual because I don't think I need to" That was right after he said he didn't know what that cable was for. Really!?! Ok I won't tell you what it's for
I had a 100 dollar gift card from buying the wave. Bought the delta 2 when it was 599. Minus the gift card i got it for 499. Pretty happy with my purchase.
Youre camper didnt come with a house battery for your TV and popcorn? I have a camper and mine did..a van. Im only looking becuse I have starlink and it sucks major power and I work from the road. Why are you acting like you cant watch TV in your camper from the house battery?
I'm sorry, I'm not sure what your question is. There is no such thing as a house battery. I'm guessing you mean an inverter? And no, my rv did not come with an inverter. To use microwave and watch tv I need to have the trailer plugged in With one of these it provides the power to the trailer needed to run the tv The video I have coming out today (in 1 hour) will actually show you how to use this in your van to get the extra capacity for starlink to work longer. Check it out.
Great video. I just purchased an EcoFlow Delta 2 Lite. Seems to have the same exact specs as your Delta 2 but with only 950 Wh vs 1024 Wh. They had a $100 off so wound up getting it for only $549. Figured the difference in Wh isn't that much so I'd save the money. Hope it's as cool as you say it is, lol!
Thank you , 😊 your video is very helpful . Hate reading instructions 😂 , im more visual i guess . 😁 . I own the same one , my problem is too heanvy .for me to move around . type of extensión cord can i use if any. ? 🙄🤔
If using an extension cord with it I recomend it have large cable size. Ideally 12 awg, but for sure 14awg That will eliminate line loss causing higher current draw or voltage drop out issues
Hey man, I appreciate your effort and your videos and I like the way you explain because I don’t know much about electrical stuff. Please bear with me, I plan to get the ecoflow wave2 but without the battery and a delta2 or delta2 max, and maybe a ecoflow 400w solar panel. I got the 2000w renogy inverter connected to two aux batteries in my van, each battery has 685 Marine Cranking Amps and 140 reserve capacity, deep cycle, they are connected in parallel then to the main battery and a manual ground switch that separates the aux batteries after being charged. I want to have the comfort of using the wave2 in cooling mode for forever 😀 well like 4 days without running the engine but I’m not sure how to calculate what I need and don’t need- /- since the wave2 works economically best from DC (max 400w), and there’s up to 20% power loss when using an inverter AC outlet like in my van~ how can I wire the delta2 or delta2 max directly to my two aux batteries so I can get long juice for the wave2 to run in no sun weather, at the same time I want the option to use a 400w solar panel (ecoflow) to keep charging the delta2 while the delta2 powers the wave2 air conditioner.. Please help. Have a great summer everyone.
Easiest way is to plug the ecoflow into yiru renogy inverter Plug all your loads into the ecoflow The ecoflow will charge off your dual battery setup this way. When it runs out of power the ecoflow will start to use its own battery till it dies Easiest way to add an ecoflow to your existing setup
im in Oz & looking @ installing more batteries plus solar on / in my motorhome but im now thinking of getting one of these or the bluetti it will probably be cheaper plus its portable so if I ever trade in my motorhome I take it with me the bluetti can come with a 15amp socket so can be connected to the motorhome to charge its battery I don't think the eco flow comes with a 15amp socket good vid
I have 4 different Bluetti solar batteries. I am going to get the Delta 2 next. EcoFlo has this battery right now for about $649.00 great deal. Good about Delta 2 60v 15a 500w solar max. So you can run multiple panels and series. You can’t do that with Bluetti solar battery. The 3 I have only take 28v 8a 200w max. This why I like the EcoFlo. Faster solar charging.
What connectors would I get to charge this off my Rv batteries? I have two solar panels on top of my rv 200 watts i mainly just want the power to run my tv at night and the water pump occasionally
This is how I hooked mine up ua-cam.com/video/XjYS8V16ldE/v-deo.html I have a car cigarette adapter that is connected to the solar charger on the constant 12v side. It charges the ecoflow off the solar panels. You could run that tv forever like that
Thanks for the review. And agree with not apologizing for bringing some luxury items during camping. For me, my glamping gear is also my emergency prepping gear and I want it to be tested and robust.
Do you think it would work for full time van life not for travel though, I work full time at a hospital. I would have an apartment size fridge and two hours of tv every night. Thank you
It depends on the wattage but I have the Delta 2 with the extra battery and it will run my full size refrigerator/freezer plus a 7 cubic foot freezer for about 20 hours. You’ll need at least 400 watts of solar panels to recharge it. It’s very difficult to achieve the full 500 watts it is capable of receiving because of the 60 volt limit, but it can be done if you use 3 Newpowa 180 watt panels.
@@teuton6167 thank you so much for your help, I am leaning towards a box truck to have more space to do my leather work. I am going to have more space to add more panels plus, I'm in Florida. Thanks again!
I have used the delta 2 on my residential full size fridge for about 9 hours during a power outage . When my fridge compressor runs it uses about 140 watts while running which is about 15 to 20 minutes. Find out how much your fridge uses as all of them are different. I also use it with a 12V dometic fridge/freezer and it will run for 90 hours before charging. The fridge normally do not run all the time which is why a tv's run time is shorter because if it uses 60 watts in 3 hours it will use 180 watts. Your fridge may only use 80 watts in 3 hours or less. If you have a solar panel minimum 200W during the day the unit will get charged in through out the day that the sun is out which at most you may only get 5 to 6 hours of peak solar charging. Which is why in your chase I would recommend get the delta 2 max which doubles the battery capacity for the days that are cloudy.
@@shelley131 Thank you very much for such detailed information and for your time. I am leaning towards the Delta 2 Max which comes with two 220w solar panels as an option and, get a 12v fridge, that should be enough in Florida and later I'll buy the Delta battery. Thanks again!
as a gamer @3:28, WHAT THE HECK IS THAT? HOW?? WHAT... IS... IS THAT... I NEED TO... HOW? WHAT?? Topic wise: can it run while being charged? and if it does what are the limits?

Using it on camping trip in national forests. No electricity and no gas generator allowed. Should be a fun test.
The DC5521 barrel connecter is rated at 12.6V DC/3A. It can run most things that accept this size connector that needs 12V like a Wi-Fi router.
Excellent point

Our RV uses 12v only for the fridge so I didn't even think of that.
Perhaps I'll make a new video to show this off

If you mean the AC circuit, it'll do 15 amps or 1800 watts.
Im not sure what the DC circuit puts out
Most people don’t know what the little 12 V cord is for that combined with an optional adapter can be used to power laptops, and other small devices.
It's weird though. Because we can do usb to usb for charging or plug in our laptop charger to the regular outlet
