Magnificent! Bravissimo! I think this is a vastly superior interpretation of this aria to ANY of the current big names on the international opera scene that I have heard or seen, including Kaufmann and Alagna. His passion and his use of dynamics with forte and piano, his ability to colour his voice with light and shade just make Mr Grigolo so exciting to listen to and to watch on stage. His top notes are beautiful, effortless and secure, including high D and I look forward to much more. Bravo!
