- Slovenia is one of the most beautiful places on Earth for cycling. The bike routes around Portoroz & Piran, on the Slovenian Adriatic Coast, are simply stunning. Rent a bike from Portoroz city center and take this well-marked cycling route. You will see some amazing places like the Strunjan Saltworks or the beautiful Venetian looking Piran.
You will use bike lanes, low car traffic local streets or even some easy mountain bike trails. 20km total length.

I really recommend Slovenia for your future cycling holidays. It is a great biking destination with amazing mountain routes (the Julian Alps with Vrsic Pass and Mangart Saddle - article and video soon) but also here on the Adriatic Coast.
