The slow kill ideology. Or at least, it takes even Magnus a few moves to punish the g5 pawn push. But he certainly did punish it heavily. Also you cant go half assed in your play. If he wanted to make g5 he ought to have castled long. He even got a chance to do that, but he didn't. There is so much you can deviate without Magnus punishing you.
