Had a 300 since its release. Loved it and now finally recently got a second and now have them on each side of the bed on my nightstands for a nice surround.
Hi, I'm thinking about ordering a second one, how would you describe the sound compared to just one speaker? Is the custom EQ still on despite pairing?
I have both Bose Soundlink Flex and Anker motion 300. I love the sound coming from Anker motion 300 more. Bose speakers are by no means bad. But i regrett buying Bose speakers because they are very expensive. I should not have bought them and invest the money in the stock market for my retirement.
I have both Soundcore 300 and Bose Soundling Mini. While I like Soundcore a lot, It is a very good speaker, especially for outdoor use, in terms of sound Bose is in a different league.
I always appreciate your reviews. If I may point out during your music testing, you were holding the speaker in the air. I'm guessing that the footpads are designed to be place on a surface. Being on a surface would change the acoustics. That would explain the need to engineer the self adjusting play modes.

I walked 30 yards away into a brick building with my phone playing to the soundcore inside my truck and it didn't lose connection. Very impressive, UE/jbl/Bose better get back to the drawing board and then tell the bean counters to lower their prices.

PLEASE READ: This speaker has too much distortion. Play the song wine pon you by Doja cat in SoundCore’s signature sound mode and at max volume you will hear distortion. It’s the cross over from when the high bass drops down to the low bass (sub bass) that I hear distortion in her voice. I tried to eq it to fix the issue but that didn’t seem to help. I turned down the bass when I EQ’d it and of course I still heard distortion.
I just got the motion 300 and honestly it's kinda over-hyped. It sounds good, but honestly, it's gimmicky. Standing up, laying down, and hanging modes is a complete gimmick. LDAC is kinda lost on this speaker. It does clean up the highs and mids, and slightly increases the clarity, but it kills the lows. I personally just custom tuned the EQ and use it with the LDAC off, because it sounds better for everything but classical music in my tests, which I never really listen to. LDAC is better suited for headphones, which I leave on 24/7. I decided to buy another soundcore 3 and I'm gonna test if it works better paired than the motion 300. If it does I'll just return the motion 300. Nevertheless the soundcore 3 syncs with my motion boom+ which makes it way more versatile.
I think JBL lost some flip 6 sales and Bose lost some flex sales with this one.
Going to have to add this to my Soundcore collection.

The Soundcore motion 300 is not pairing as a sound device in Windows 10. Any ideas as to how to fix this?
