Yeah this recording is freakin awesome. Tons of controlled low end, great guitar tones, vox, drums sound great.

Is Johny really behind the mixing and mastering as well (if that's the case then it's too much talent for one guy)? It's pretty balanced and clean track, you can hear even high freguency drum sounds clearly (hats, rides ect) and they didn't turn snare into the tom. In the other hand song doesn't have +100 and then some more layers which helps a lot. It also keeps it real when you don't have a tons of backtracks.

The bands evolving and changing, which is a good thing. Bands simply don't survive playing the same thing for 40+ years.

Great production but damn I’m so disappointed, missing Fast Loud Death, Terror Hungry stuff... I understand they truly wanna be recognized, and LS deserves it. But yeah missing the Thrash stuff.

Same, my brother, same. I guess the thrash part didn't bring anything "new" but it was really well done with great attitude. This song is also a banger, with great production but it really doesn't bring anything new either and is even more bland imo. Of course it's just matter of opinion but I take thrash over core anytime.

I guess the old stuff was more classic 80's - 90's thrash. This has more modern metalcorey feel to it. Anycase, absolute banger! Works pretty god damn well live also 🤘
2nd disapointment. 1st was Suicidal Angel latest single. Seems playing thrash was a thing of the past for these guys.

@@uriel4418 he released an album last year called Kenny Leckremo's Spectra i believe which was on a super indie label or even self released! Dynazty's drummer played on it as did Dave from H.E.A.T. Johnny writing with Andreas Eriksson would be something special for sure though! Two of the greatest young guitarists in rock/metal!
That's because Johnny is amazing and talented. Anything that can help Finnish bands get more recognized is great. Johnny is quite good with arranging...so I hear.... and anyone who knows anything about him knows he is a guitar god! Mhmmm... his work is grand.

This song is so damn amazing. I can hear so many influences. They are my age and I can clearly see how they find new influences throughout their career. Same happens to me with my playing and with my composing. And I'm sure this is not their final form.
Thrash Metal or not. I love this song. I'm hooked. For some reason, I feel it's not gonna completely abandon Thrash metal. Let's see how the album turns out.
I gotta be honest, I'm kinda bummed that you are not pure thrash anymore. On the other hand, though, I completely get the new style choice and I'm equally as excited as before for what the new album has to offer!
I know where you're coming from but in reality pure thrash doesn't exist. Thrash at it's core is a metal mutt, mixing punk hardcore and metal. They're just playing with the mix.

This is a SOLID metal song and everyone wants to hate on it, and it’s definitely better than anything the “kings of thrash” have put out since master.

They don't sound like Trivium. I'm very doubtful they're fans of them. However they're all Children of Bodom fans and you can hear the influence plus more modern Bodom-ish production influence courtesy of the living legend Joonas Parkkonen. I doubt LS want Trivium's poser baggage and cheap in a bad way production.

the production wiped out the band and its essence, you hear the band's early work compared to the acime and it looks like two different bands, not bad but they took what a band had to look different and made a copy of a Trivium of life.
