    I highly recommend not buying AQ-5200 or AQ-5300. Every time I change the filters, the system leaks. I've put a coin in the bottom, I've bought food grade silicon washers, I've checked the O-rings, I've hand tightened. You *CAN'T* win with these things. And the problem is if you have a single cutoff for the filter and your kitchen sink, and you've pulled your filters to replace, guess what - no working sink until you get the magical perfect touch to get all three to not leak. Also, no support on the weekends. Buy and use at your own risk.

    What is the purpose of the battery? What kind is it and how often is the average replacement time for the battery?

      Hello Bob,
      Thank you for your question. The AQ-5300 was designed with a battery that will emit an audible sound when a new set of replacement filters is needed. The battery will beep at the 6-month mark. A new battery will be included with a new set of filters for replacement.

    What is size of hole needed for water faucet mounting?

    I installed the 3 filter under sink and when I turn on , no water comes out? Do I need to wait for it to fill the tank first

    What is the size of the tubing connecting the filtration system with the faucet?

    I just have a small leak above a NEW black filter any thoughts on the fix? are there rings above the filter too? I'm gonna have to disasemble or maybe buy a new top if you sell it...tia

      Get used to it. These things leak every time you change the filter. The engineering on the seals is terrible. Support will tell you all kinds of things - put a coin in the bottom to prop up the filters, get silicon washers, etc.,etc, they will send you new filters. Doesn't change the fact that these things leak so easily.

    I have a question. Does this system remove Cadmium out of drinking water?

      Hi Elmer, thanks for reaching out! No, our Claryum 3-Stage is not certified to remove Cadmium. We recommend our OptimH20 Reverse Osmosis + Claryum under sink system as it is certified to remove up to 95.3% of Cadmium from your tap water. Learn more here: pulse.ly/vhtc900aaa

    How do you pull out water supply hose?

      Hi David! There is a ring at each side of the unit that is holding the tubing. Press the ring inward (towards the unit) and pull on the tubing at the same time.       If the output tubing is leaking, it sounds like the tubing is not pushed all the way in.
