Had a Braun Oral B for more than ten years. Just upgraded to the Pro5000. Don’t need the fancy travel charger, or the phone mount. 13 years of Braun brushing in total has been less than $225.00 including original Braun, new Braun, and approx. 40 generic brush-heads. Well worth 16 bucks per year. Found the cheaper (generic) brush-heads work very well. 1/2 the price of brand name heads. Also, you don’t have to have the app running. The toothbrush retains 30 sessions of brushing data so you only have to sync. once in a while.. 10-12 days and you don’t need to watch a timer timing. The handle vibrates and lights up when it’s time to move to the next quadrant. Tip: Don’t charge it on your wife’s bedside table. It’ll never get fully charged...😆

Tq. You've made it clear that it cant tell the direction of brushing but rather show how long have you been on the particular spot. I was brought here to findout as if this thing has accelerometer embedded and does it really justify the upgrade from pro 5000. Tq youve made my life a lot easier now. Tq.
I just ordered one. I am handicapped now, and I can't brush my teeth effectively anymore. My dentist and I hope this model will help me, and it has a function (I think) to send info to him. I will let you know how this works out for me.
I hadn't gone to the dentist in 10 years (yes I know terrible). I bought this and used it for 6 months prior to my check-up and the dentist said my teeth were in great shape. LOL
I think this is the best tooth brush I ever had. Other expensive like sonicare brushes were so Ruth very hard Bristles that it cut my mouth my gums and went back to manual but this is perfect even this the hardest bristles it’s amazing and the app is very helpful but the bottom left side of mouth is never recognized it does the opposite side first then left so the app isn’t that accuarate and it’s not really tracking how clean ur teeth are as it whitesn the teeth as long as the brush is running so it’s really just estimating the time u supposedly spent on ur teeth buy it is very helpful and I’m so happy with this. Finally a electric brush worth the money. I have very sensitive gums and they’re encoded so this helps so please people invest in this. I hate manual brushing it hurts my arm and yea we’re all lazy when wanting to brush.
I'm planning on buying this toothbrush. Since your review was made in 2017. What are your thoughts of this toothbrush now? A common issue I read from reviews is how long it lasts(battery- many complains that it dies after a year, just stops charging). How is the tooth brush now? Are you still using it?
Toothbrush $ costs are nothing, compared to major dental treatment costs over my lifetime. Toothpaste has many treatments (floride, pain desensitizers, medicals, etc) to quickly be placed on general tooth surfaces; two or so minutes whilst flossing & brushing. Excess timing, excess pressure are to be avoided. Will the smartphone application work on sound alone, without Bluetooth?
I just purchased it before seeing your video. I have no intentions of using it with my phone. I just liked that it lights up when brushing lol. Pretty expensive toothbrush

I bought the pro 3000. Can't believe it took me 53 years before I bought an electric toothbrush brush. Brilliant!
Don't actually brush, Just let it sit on your tooth for a couple seconds. It's not a manual toothbrush.

You attach something to the white home charging base, then breeze over it without explaining. Is that side compartment for holding extra brush heads?
