At 36:34 seems that Daigo did it intentionally to punish you. At first 36:24 he was surprised that jab would link there and took mental note of that to use further down the line. Pretty clever stuff, although it's you would expect no less coming from Daigo. I never saw any Ken do this, but then again I almost never saw the Sim x Ken matchup anywhere outside of you, fChamp. Great content as always.
Also, this round ending sequence here 17:23 was spectacular. You actually took the exhibit from 14:24 and flipped back at him.

Back in the day Fchamp used to talk shit about him cause he beat him once in SF4 and called him free that was before Yun was out. But even back then he had respect for Daigo he respects most pros.

That was very good Champ, it's always good to see you guys playing at a high level, very good. it seems that Daigo has finally got the hang of the game and the doll, he has matured a lot compared to about 2 months ago.
FChamp always been one of my favorites and definitely top 3 most interesting players to watch in any game. I was cheering for him during his marvel run back at EVO in 2012. Really hope to see more of him.

Drive reversal is so bad, it needs to be full invencibility and only punishable on wiff or blocked.

Huh? What are you talking about? It is invincible and breaks armour too and is punishable on whiff and block. It being minus 7 makes it super easy to punish honestly.
Edit: just seen to the end with the 2 weird interactions with the fireballs. Probably shares the same properties as level 1 supers that they not projectile invulnerable. Could just change that and would be fixed. Otherwise i think drive reversal is fine as is. You cant just use it as a free get off move. You gotta use it the right way to counter mediums and heavies.
@@evilweevle There are too many times where people keep spamming it and when I bait it, my 6f punish whiffs. That effectively makes it too safe of an option. It should be a riskier option.
It is fully invincible. It just doesn't last long to the point Dhalsim's longer drive reversal animation and wide hurtbox can avoid a slow fireball.
It is 19 frames long invincibility, and it beats armor. Sim's DR is a little bit unique. That hp into slow fireball is anti-sim only.

Sim's limbs having hurtboxes extend instantly 10+ frames before the actual hitbox comes out is so egregious. Ken can just press st mp in neutral and win on bith whiff punish and counterhit. Its honestly so bullshit compared to gow sim has played in the past. I really dont understand why they made him like this when DI already beats committal pokes like st mp
You really think preemptively throwing out a 26 frame move with like 60 frames of recovery in neutral in the hopes to catch a stray limb is smart???
