    The more open, flowing trails in 3rd or 4th gear are what the motor and suspension are designed for in my humble opinion. I put a Dirt Tricks timing chain tensioner, a Rekluse Radius CX auto-clutch and a Shenko Cheater on mine and turned it into a do everything bike, trails and track. I love it!
    Thanks Rado for another great, upbeat and positive video. I enjoy your channel a lot.

    Bought my first 350 xcf in 11! I've owned everything from a 200 up to the 450! 2 stroke 4 stroke, the 350 is my favorite bike! Little suspension work by G-force, rekluse core EXP clutch good to go! Good video!

    I purchased a 2018 new from dealer and road it for the first time today. First time on a ktm ever. The xcf 350 was great, I felt like it moved very well much like a snowmobile on a epic snow day. It felt very fluid. The suspension was a little stiff for me but obviously I need to tweak it for my riding style.

      @@dirtniron I’ve just started riding dirt this last year and have been learning on a 2005 Yz450f. It’s been an amazing bike, and I was able to rejet it with JD jets and also learned to adjust the mixture screw properly a d now my bike starts up right away and rides like the wind.. NO MORE POPPING! My bike has put up with all of my mistakes and as soon as I can afford it am going with the KTM. I ride track and trail and your video made me aware of how perfect it is for both. BTW I’ve been able to help other people with problems with their carb from what i’ve learned from you. Everyone overlooks the mixture screw and starts thinking worse case scenario. It’s amazing what adjustments on it will do for you. Thanks you for all the great videos and tutorials, you deserve a sponsorship from those manufacturers.

    As a 51 year old motorcycle builder ..rider and lover.. I don’t believe in a unicorn bike ..I have personally owned over 50 machines in my life.. I feel it’s riders skills that are the real truth about what any bike can do..I have ridden with guys that had more experience that myself when I was younger I had nicer newer faster bikes and they ran circles around me.. I listened and learned all I could from them.. now I am that older rider and I can do the same.. seat time ..and knowledge can give you ability to ride anything to its full potential..too many people believe that bigger is better..more power will make me better.. a great rider on a 350 vs a average rider on a 300 2 stroke or 500 4 stroke.. the better rider will always win.. I have smoked younger riders on a 250 4 stroke 10 years older than all of the new bikes the group of 10 guys I ride with a lot who are really good riders but still younger and they cannot believe that I can put them in the dust on it on a track .. in the tight northeast single track in the mountains.. I can just turn it on ..they all have listened and learned from me just like I did when I was a kid..and improved.. ps they really dislike when I jump on my Ktm 300 xc..lol .. So after my story I think that the 350 is a fantastic bike when you have a skilled rider on them ! .. great review and honest opinion.. thanks bud

    After buying a ktm 690R last year the Ktm dealer called to say they have a left over 2019 350XCF for 10K out the door. Been doing a lot of research on this bike and really want some info on what to do. I currently have a 2017 YZ250 FX but noticed this KTM 350 is 20 pounds lighter. How is that possible. Should I just unload the FX and get this or hold off a year or two?

    • @dirtniron
      @dirtniron  4 роки тому

      hard to tell, FX is great offroad bike with really good suspension, I would not mind having that bike as my 4 stroke trail bike, I would probably go with 270 big bore kit and match the mapping, but even stock they run really good. I am testing 2019 WR450 , love to ride this thing

      Yes, I am more low to mid range rider, i need to get the habit of juicing out all the horses from these bikes. I kinda feel bad for the bike if I hit limiter. How about you, do you hit it often?

    • @seaoforange88
      @seaoforange88 5 років тому

      Actually I don't think I ever have. The Rev limiter is 14k rpm. Things happen quickly from 10-14k.(that's were it makes 58hp). I usually run out of room before I hit the Rev limiter. But that's the beauty of the 350. It's tractable down low and in the midrange with just enough grunt, but a fire breather at the top end.
