My issue with her, as elite as she is, she doesn’t rap the way she talks. She puts on a hood accent and she doesn’t talk like that. Comes off as performative. It’s like she’s rapping the way she thinks a dope emcee is supposed to sound like. But she’s fire. Just one critique

She truly is an incredible rapper. Every time I listen to a song by her, I learn something new. She has everything she needs to dominate the industry, and I really want to see that happen.

Please do Yesterday or Gods Bathroom Floor by Atmosphere. Slug from Atmosphere co-founded the Rhymesayers label in 1995 with his Atmosphere partner, Anthony Davis (Ant), Musab Saad (Sab the Artist) and Brent Sayers (Siddiq). Eyedea was their first signed artist. Been trying to turn you guys onto their music for months. Sa-Roc and Aesop Rock are also Rhymesayers artists, with Sa-Roc being the second female ever signed to the label. Mac Lethal was also once signed to Rhymesayers.
Didn't know Aesop was with Rhymesayers. That dude is a f*cking thesaurus, period. lyrics pages just need "hover over" dictionary just to help decrypt his lexicon. You wanna feel like English is a foreign language even if it's your primary language, just shuffle a playlist of only Aesop Rock and Black Thought for a few hours.

I'm doing the same thing with my daughter as well. Introducing her to artist that are truly dope and that's actually saying something that she can hold on to. Not this disposable music that the mainstream is feeding them.

I was blessed to know Sa-Roc from the beginning around 2011 (Journey of the Starseed). I don't even remember how I got turned on to her. I don't know how many more people I've turned on to her since. It's so effing awesome to see her finally getting some of the props she deserves (she deserves radio play but whatever). Watching all these reactions to her music and seeing people experience and enjoy this Goddess is so satisfying I can't even begin to tell you. Enjoy the Journey that is SA-ROC!!!

When I first heard “7 Circuits” back in 2010-11 I believe, I was like “Who In The World In This”... I had to hit up all of her social media and I’ve been rocking with her and Sol Messiah (her producer) ever since.
SaRoc isn’t just in my FemCee top 5, she’s in my all time Top 5, period.
She definitely has the right look already, the masses just need to give respect where respect is due.
