Another one of your interesting single track lines. Each one seems to have unique scenery to go along with the ride. I especially enjoyed the seaside views that popped up along the way. Thanks for sharing the ride! 🎉
Very very nice locations and video 👍🤗 I like this railroad since I discovered it through a UA-cam suggestion - and fall in love immediately 🥰 It‘s like a tramway inside a big city, but connects different towns 😊 Randomly yesterday evening I watched on Netflix the japanese anime „Your Voice: Kimikoe (Original:きみの声をとどけたい Kimi no Koe wo Todoketai)“… and what can I say: the railway in the film (the father of one of the main characters is even a train driver) reminds me very much of the Enoshima line 🙄🤔 - and as research on Wikipedia showed, some places from this area were actually used as a template ! 🤗 Many greetings 🖖
As you point out, this line has a lot of stage props. The proximity to the sea, the section that runs on the road surface, and the proximity to the historic town of Kamakura all combined to make it an attractive route. About 50 years ago, there were many discussions about abolishing this line, but I don't think it will ever be abolished.
@@14ikesan12 I hope the route will NEVER be discontinued: the charm of a mixture of tram and train is unique and I can absolutely understand many people's enthusiasm for this train 👍😊 Many greetings 🖖
@@wandajackson3410 Do not worry. This line will never be removed. In the past, many plans were made to remove the line, and each time the decommissioning of the line was denied. As the number of cars increased, traffic jams occurred, and the railway was considered more convenient. The small train that runs slowly is now a symbol of this area. Without this train, the area would lose its charm. There will be riots. (^-^)
Probably due to the slow response of the braking system. All vehicles other than this 300 series were manufactured after the 1980s, so there is a gap of 20 years. Shouldn't the driver be careful?
I can reach ENODEN in a little over an hour from my house. But I end up buying things like seafood, and before I know it, I end up spending money. everytime.
Lovely ride through the various neighborhoods and by the ocean. The video would have been much better without the shaking of the camera. Thank you for another train ride.
I didn't realize the camera was shaking so much. sorry. However, for various reasons, such as the weather being nice and the 300 class, I couldn't reject this video.
OK, I have a question... At around the 0:45 mark, there is a signal on the pole that is shaped like a pentagon, with 5 lights on it. The same type of signal is visible many times in this video. And I have seen these signals many times in other videos. But have never seen one that is lit. What are they for? TIA!.
It is a Obstruction-warning signal. This signal lights up and rotates when there is danger ahead due to traffic or weather. If it's not lit, it means safe.

I also look forward to the view of the ocean from the train window.
Nice little seaside single-track line. Like the street running.
There are many people enjoying cycling and jogging in the section where we can see the ocean. It is a landscape that symbolizes peace in Japan.

Great ride. Rough brakes though! It sounds like loose brake shoes.

15:28 a train spotting family of 3 down there just before the crossing loop taking photos of the 305-355 set.
There are many people taking pictures of Enoden with their smartphones. This 300 type is Enoden's most old timer, so it is also the most popular.
A very enjoyable journey!

Bienvenidos a Japón desde México. La primavera en Japón puede parecerle un poco fría, pero disfrute de su tranquilo viaje en tren.
