loool it is totally understandable lol but honestly the mindblowing scene or fight will not hit the same at ALL without a good slice of life background or a good world-building some ppl will just get attached to the characters because of their looks or because their action is relatable and that is enough for them as a background and world-building and they start to root for the characters just because of that, that is why a lot of them hate so much any type of slice of life scene because they already build their connection and wanna see their characters in action, but that is only for these type of ppl that are a lot like a lot of ppl that doesn't feel this enough at all to justify character action in a story for them the story is just average or typical like that without good world building and slice of life that make us discover the characters more and know more about them, that is why you could found some ppl complain on youtube say that is anime is average or meh because it didn't make me love the character or the character is so typical or they didn't give me a lot of context .. it is kinda hard to find the perfect show that can pleased everyone but the media is huge everyone will eventually found one ....... altho I admit that a boring really long slice of life is really make the brain rotting very quickly x.x ... looking at you slime anime
the only reason I made it through ep7 was I could tell from the looks he was getting leading up to that scene that it was having the opposite effect of what he thought was happening. Ep15 however he put in the most effort the show ever showed him make to save her only to get THAT as his result was soul crushing to the point I didn't even blame him when he finally decided to run and set up the scene everyone remembers and memes SO well it not only picks up the MC but also the viewers as well.
