i had an idea for a playthrough. do a playthrough where all you do is cook. all your income comes from cooking! you would have your farm setup in such a way where you'd be getting all the ingredients possible, or at least for the ingredients for the best selling recipes. i think this sounds like fun and a good variation. something i might try in the future!
Speaking of bee houses, I always completely surround the flower in the center with a ring of eight bee houses (I put seven around it first, then finish walling it up after I plant the seed.) The arrangement is slightly less optimal, but it means I will never accidentally harvest the flower in the center.
oh ezlilyy! i also have a tip about how to get a TON of wood easily! (a bit off topic but its helpful!) buy wood chippers from robin and put in hardwood into the chipper. thats basically it! so essentially with the Lumberjack profession every tree has a chance of dropping some hardwood when its cut down. and each piece of hardwood gives between 5-10 (lets say average of 8 total) wood. when i cut down a tree i get like 22 wood, but when i chop down a Mahogany tree i get 11 hardwood, which is equal to between 55-110 wood per tree! with the Shaving tool enhancement on the Axe from the forge, you can get even more than that! a wood chipper only costs 1,000 gold and its pretty easy to fill an entire big shed full of them (137) and never be short on wood again. great for crafting all those tappers, bee houses and kegs!
@@puteriqistina3412 a great place to farm mahogany seeds is the hidden forest, killing the slimes and breaking the stumps. as well you can cut down the mahogany trees on ginger island to get a bunch of tree fertilizer to help them grow much faster (including through winter) you can deconstruct staircases and grass starter for stone and fiber. something ezlilyy has covered before
In early game, you can go to the casino and play and buy all hardwood fences and sell them 10 G each (price is 100 casino chips), so you can get 1 gold per 10 chips, in an hour or two you can make about 50 K gold ( it does depend on luck tho, the better luck the fastest you make money)

@@AugustZephyr You get one from the museum and the desert trader trades 3 prismatic shards for 1 magic rock candy. Very expensive but then they are OP. I personally find lucky lunches or Pumpkin Soup easier to use. If you have Ginger Ale that adds on extra luck too.

That seems like a lot, but as you progress through the game you pick up quite a few prismatic shards by going into skull caverns. But you can still get pretty good luck buffs from other foods like pumpkin soup or lucky lunch, which you can buy randomly from Gus or learn the recipes by tuning into queen of the sauce on sundays/wednesdays.
If you want to befriend your cows and goats to max hearts in one day, just milk them over and over again. If you cancel the animation for milking (Or shearing for sheep) It stops milking the animal, but it still gives them the friendship point, and since your animal can still be milked, you can repeat this process until your new animal's friendship is maxed out.

what about making money centralized around Coffee and TSE? Basically u need Hot Java Ring (even better if u have 2 and combine them with another ring each in the Forge of your choice), craft some Monster Musks, and go to the lower level mines (esp. where Dust Sprites spawn), and just kill as much monsters as possible for collecting Coffee and TSE, while having a coffee-only farm and keg sheds to make more Coffee, stockpile them, then sell them all either weekly or monthly. It probably won't make that much money than other methods, but I did have fun doing it, esp. since the benefits are that: 1. Apart from the kids (Leo, Vincent, Jas), everyone likes or loves Coffee and TSE 2. u get constant speed boost for cheap (esp. if u have Coffee Maker, and if u are married to someone that may give u Coffee (*cough* Leah))

I think Mayo is actually really good, because you can produce so much of the stuff since chickens are so cheap. 12 chickens can make 3100 gold a day with mayo, which is really good in the early game

Each time you sell an ostrich instead of keeping it, you lose profit from the eggs/mayonnaise that you could get from them until the new batch of ostriches begins to lay eggs at the same rate and quality, which probably is more than the 20k gold you get from selling the ostrich. They're also not quite free, considering you miss out on selling 10 batches of mayonnaise for each ostrich.
I think she meant 'free' as in, once you have ostrich that lays eggs, you can incubate the eggs to increase the numbers for your ostrich empire without additional payments. Now you're suggesting instead of investing time into incubating, hatching, and maxing friendship with that egg into ostrich- to just go straight to mayo with it. Yes that makes a quick buck, but every mayo batch you sell (max 5320 with artisan and iridium quality) could have eventually been a 20k Ostrich. Its not hard to imagine quickly outpacing the incubators (eggs coming in faster than can hatch) and this surplus is fine to mayo while you wait for an egg incubator to make room for next batch. I would watch a playthru where @ezlily makes ostrich empire. alright so all animals (except rabbits) can reproduce, so i would recommend a barn/coop for each animal type and let them reproduce and sell the offsprings at max friendship
How do you pet all of your animals so quickly? Whenever I try to do that it opens up each animal’s individual profile page so I can’t quickly pet them all at once
Ok so best thing to do is hold onto something (I use a scythe or copper pan) hold the button down and run around them all quickly petting them all. Only release the button once they all been petted. Same trick works for harvesting crops quicker too. I use a PS4 so as far as I know it works for consoles and PC; no idea on mobile.

The fire quartz trick isn’t really worth it if you do the math. So I have 800 chrystalariums, the quartz sell for 130 with the gemologist profession. So in 5 days, harvesting each time I make $520,000. Now diamonds with the same profession makes $780,000. Without the profession it’s $400,000 for the firequartz and $600,000 for diamonds.

The ostrich tip is kinda stupid... you make more profit with a LOT less effort just selling the mayo than selling the ostriches. You lose a ton of money in the days the ostrich is a baby and can't produce eggs.

Wood chippers also turn driftwood into regular wood. Helpful if you have a lot of crab pots, or do a ton of fishing.
This tip works really well with the forest farm! The 8 hardwood stumps regenerate every morning so I was never short on wood or coal.

Putting the fire quartz through a furnace will yield slightly more profit. 1 fire quartz (130g) + 1 coal (15g) = 3 refined quartz (150g)
