The Aeon Who Messes Up Wikipedia Entries | Honkai Star Rail Lore

- Messing up wikipedia entries is often seen as a nuisance more than anything but in the honkai star rail universe there is a group of people who may well find this a role something their Aeon would ask them to do. Mythus is the aeon of enigmata and their sole purpose is to obscure and hide the many mysteries and knowledge of the universe from sentient creatures simply because it feels such creatures cannot possibly understand them. To accomplish its mission it has recruited the help from 2 factions, the history fictionologist and the riddlers.
So in this video we are going to explore the path of enigmata, its aeon mythus and the followers of this path to determine why exactly they like misleading people.
Some part of this video comes from the actual lore while others may be speculation on my part as we currently do not know the full story. As such take it with a grain of salt as the point of this video is just a deeper dive into Honkai Star Rail lore.

And now Mythus is relevant again in the main story. Also has anyone ever noticed how Mythus' design seems to resemble that figure from one of the art for Everywhere at the End of Time (the one with a human looking thing standing on top of a staircase)? I just noticed the similarity and in-universe, Mythus' design is said to resemble the destroyed cognitive center of the human brain, so I think it could be Hoyo making a nod to EATOT due to Mythus' path
Don't forget they were also once a part of the Remembrance.
People with dementia dont trust their memories because they dont know if something has actually happened or not and everything is just scrambled, very similar to mythus. He also looks like a jellyfish if you look from far away i dunno why tho
Some insight: while Enigmata itself is a fascinating path, I am very skeptical and even nervous with how they will be implemented by mihoyo for the game’s lore and story. Mihoyo tends to retcon stories and revealed info and render them useless. This made gathering concrete lore for games such as HI3 difficult because definition and interpretation of words such as “Honkai” were changed so many times to the point where you don’t know which is true anymore. So I fear that they will use the concept of Enigmata to make all the retcons and lore changes they make “reasonable”. I hope that MIHOYO inserts them in the story properly. Confusing the player but also respectful enough that we can have concrete snd reliable exposition and info.
Yeah I can totally see this becoming an issue and how they might abuse the enigmata as a Canon way of changing things. That said, they have already done this somewhat with Dan Shu who was originally part of the main story and later changed to be instead a side quest but they didnt chalk it up to the enigmata. That said I do hope they dont lean on it too much as a crutch and overuse the enigmata when they write themselves into a corner, thatll just feel bad overall
I'd say Honkai's definition has expanded. But I got you. If I were asked I'd tell someone that it's Imaginary energy the origins from the Cocoon of Finality. Or its the Finality's effect on reality.

I understand their intentions, sometimes people learn history not to prevent mistakes from their ancestors but rather ignite their own rages on newer generations from the sins of their fathers, like the oppressed despise the oppressor including their newer generation.
Anyway, i can see some member of this faction were align with elation just to troll the whole universe lol

Elio probably have knowledge to deals with most if not all of the Aeons to his varying extent, knowing that he technically can choose certain specific parts to limited extent into his will, knowing that even Silverwolf from Punklorde that could hack even codes of reality are abiding to his interests on dismantling the natures of Aeons, Elio might be the one that have surprises instead
Which reminded me of how Ferryman in HI3 operates, albeit the way Ferryman of Honkai Impact operates ruthlessly with no regards of life, then Elio might be less merciless if not even outright merciful iteration of Ferryman, much like other altercated iterations of Honkai Impact characters in Star Rail being tweaked archetypes and slightly altered appearance iterations of from said game

I can’t help but notice that Mythus looks way too much like Phosphophylite from Houseki no Kuni in his “human” form. He looked like that due to being an amalgamation of different parts (like a certain hound we know)

Oh some npc said this, actually one agent of Mythus is fucking with database so this npc actually get wrong info. Now HooH allow everything to be grey area, any action is justified because universe need to be rebalanced.
Elio is already sample of bad writing. Everything must follow his script and losing sense of danger/stakes
