I seen A LOT of concerts in the 80s. Too many to count, and Cinderella was always at the top of the list for live bands. God damn the 1980s was a BLAST !
For my money, Cinderella was one of the best bands to come out of the 80's, and even after all of the problems that Tom Kiefer has gone through with his voice, hes come back and sounds damn near as good as he did here. Amazing musician and songwriter.
I agree 100%, however I never didn't like it when bands like this one, Stryper (and others) looked more like a woman than a man. I guess that's what sold back then.
@@manchesterexplorer8519 But they weren't really glam-the label pushed them that way for Night Songs, they were an incredible kick ass bluesy hard rock band. More in line with Little Caesar then Motley Crue. I loved Cinderella
I don't care what anybody says, I love this band. I've seen them several times over the years. They were fantastic every time. Tom is a solo act now. His band is great too. 👍🍻
Tom Keifer is mesmerizing to watch. He has such a menacing voice. I've always liked high pitched screaming voices, (Stephen Pearcy, Axl Rose). I especially like the way he seems to over emphasize the last syllable at the end of each line. It's unique, weird, but somehow very catchy.
I`m 43 y.o. now. When I was growing up I had Cinderella, Bon Jovi, Modern Talking, Michael Jackson and many other greatest singers and bands. Your new generation has Lizzo, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Beyonce. I`m so sorry for you and for my poor kids =] They don`t know what real music is. And will never know.
All you have to do is find the live album or CD and then you will know. Excellent voice and excellent band. Never grouped them with any type music. I saw them 3 times the last year's and they are still great
I love this video! This was at the very beginning of their fame. I love how they do that little shuffle down the stage together at the beginning! Jeff Labar kills me putting his leg up on that VERY tall speaker while he's playing+so fun to watch!!!! 💖😄
A fabulous, energetic live rendition of this catchy song by Cinderella, which on the "so catchy I can't get the tune out of my head" scale I'll put right up there with Black 'n Blue's "Hold On To 18" and Firehouse's "Reach for the sky".
I absolutely love this band though I'm new to it and know they're not together anymore. The lyrics, vocals and music is pure genius!!!!!! I've bought 2 of their CD's after coming across them on you tube, one last month and one this month and been jamming out in my new car to it everyday!!!!!!
This band was one of the top 80s band and one of many I would not tell anyone I liked there music. Poison was another band I wouldn't tell anyone that I liked. First time seeing Poison on a album cover I thought they were women. Back then you couldn't tell the difference because of the hair. Make no mistakes those guys with that hair would and could fight really well. Boy could they pull the women. I was what they called back then a Jock, Head. I loved to play sports football, wrestling but I really loved to have a good time with the Ladies and just have a good time never took it seriously. One Regret though, I DIDN'T TAKE IT SERIOUSLY I SHOULD HAVE FOCUSED MORE ON THE IMPORTANT THINGS BACK THEN.
Freddie Coury 1 of my fav drummers, Tom is a Great guitarist, but Jeff Lebar is SO underrated, prob cause them gettin lumped into the fkin Big Hair days, but Cinderella set themselves apart from alot of those sh**ty bands, they were Heavy, still listen to em
Tom did lose his singing voice temporarily but Not because of his singing style. He had a viral infection that settled in his vocal cords and partially paralyzed the left one. In the 00's it happened to the right one. Seven surgeries and countless vocal coaches later his voice is doing great but he has to warm up and baby his voice for hours when touring. Amazing, dedicated musician!!💖
I remember being criticized for digging on this band back in the day. My friends said they were everything wrong with rock along with winger and poison and warrant "ALL POSERS".
@@shamrock32 At least the Poison guys played on their records. The guitarists in Warrant didn’t even play on their own albums. Not the first one anyway.
Rip Jeff, see you again when you're awakened to life again on the coming, foretold paradisaic new world of righteousness of God's Kingdom. Until then rest in peace🥀 ( 2 Peter 3:13)
I Didnt have the right nylon smooth strap, so when I tried the first time, I threw my Jackson into the ceiling, so silly, but I wanted to be like Eric Lebar!!!

Nimfa Castillo this band is way more professional... and heaps more talented.. if you can get past the Glam shit everyone was doing... and as a bonus they actually have a lead singer. Fuck Axl
They sure should have so under rated this voice alone could blow the doors of what's his name oh ya axle is it wonder how that man could even hold his head up with that big ass ego of his
There will never again be concerts that rock like this... unless a new generation decides to pick up actual instruments. We can dream..
Thats actually excactly what im gonna do but i just need more practice my dream is playing ina band
Fr
Greta van Fleet
There are lots of new metal bands that kick ass. Now if we are talk about this exact style of playing that’s something else. Try Steel Panther.
Their walk up the stage reminds me of VH's Hear About It Later '81 Oakland. Aside from Wolfie & Grohl/FOO, good luck.
I seen A LOT of concerts in the 80s. Too many to count, and Cinderella was always at the top of the list for live bands. God damn the 1980s was a BLAST !
The white sneakers/boots, NOT the only white stuff at the '80's concerts. I'm 57, loved Eddie's white & blue swoosh 81 Nikes. VH.

One of the few hair/glam bands that I enjoy and I'm old enough to be from this era .

one of the few bands that i felt had not one bad song..on four straight records!
I don't care what anybody says, I love this band. I've seen them several times over the years. They were fantastic every time. Tom is a solo act now. His band is great too. 👍🍻
So right!!!!! 😉💖
Only fool would snob at this talent. Hell yeah Cinderella. 👍🏼🎸🔥

Best hair metal band ever!!! Awesome riffs and musical talent.
That sound is very crazy. I was really into the 80's. Hair Metal exploded in the head of the class with this band. A unique voice in the rock world!
That voice 😁😁🤘🤘🤤🤤
These dudes are rockin' it. Swinging guitars is wild. Back when concerts were affordable and kick ass.
RIP Jeff another one gone to soon! Thank you for the memories of my teenage years!
Как вы знаете что исчезнет... Кто
Great band, great song, great era! A very underrated band that unfortunately was labeled a hairband.

axl maybe cuts it but stephen pearcy wasn’t high pitched

If they stayed together, they would have been one of the greatest bands of all time!
That was an awesome live performance!

Everyone needs to buy this CD, a must in your rock collection. This bad could play sing and write and don't forget the live shows.
so 🤘.... luv it!
RIP Jeff LaBar 🙏
This sounds, EXACTLY like the studio version....unlike artists today
Группа крутая... В 80х я ещё был в школе... Недавно случайно услышал.. Мне уже 50. но для меня они только начали петь
Real glam metal!!!
All you have to do is find the live album or CD and then you will know. Excellent voice and excellent band. Never grouped them with any type music.

I agree with not grouping them with any type of music. They have done plenty of it beautifully. Love Heartbreak Station.

The best hairband of the 80s, hands down. Amazing live performance. Music of today is such talentless garbage and its sad.
Great performance 👍👍👍 tight band they were .
Saw them in 1987 tour with Bon Jovi!! 😃
That Song Entrance = BOSS!
R.I.P. Jeff.
and so beautiful - verry pretty and nice

So talented that Tom Kiefer, but with that scratchy voice, it's no wonder he ruined his voice cords, twice.
He didn't ruin anything he still have his voice Cinderella didn't succeded cuz Tom took all of the attention
Solos,piano,drums.
@@melek1108 well he actually did but he managed to get his voice back.

MrSmokeydog glam was popular but was looked down on at the same time
Those who chose to be negative and criticize you obviously didn't have good taste in music lol.
and those people were FOOLS!!!!!!!!!!!
Cinderella, Winger, and Warrant were all outstanding musicians, your friends were clueless, I really can't stand Poison, but to each their own.

Cost me my rents’ deposit from the hole in the wall the guitar causes when it when flying off my strap.
Don't feel bad, as I said in an earlier comment Eric dislocated his shoulder doing that move, bless him!
Shit he sounds JUST LIKE his recorded stuff. Talented ass band
Did the late great Jeff labar use Kramer guitars???
So that's Where Zack Morris got his shoes!

the amount of cringe is breathtaking in this video, from the outfits, the hair and especially the guitar twirl.
Tom with Strat looks mighty odd, but still sounds good.
