Dan, I really LOVE this video and watched it many times until now. In 2008 I bought my first very own car with an age of 27 (I waited to buy a car when I was younger because I wanted to start with a very cool car ;) ) - and it was directly a Cadillac XLR. Well, the other option was the Mustang Bullitt at that time. But I thought as long as I have no kids and only a girlfriend.....: "A two-seater fits perfectly." :D I married my girlfriend one year later, we have two daughters (aged 10 and 8) and needed a spacious car after the XLR.....but now it is time to look for a Bullitt again here in Germany. :D Well, some very private stuff I wrote here publicly (for the very first time) but I absolutely enjoy your story and videos about your Bulliitt. So take care and Godbless!
Hi Alfa. At the time of filming this video the exhaust was stock. I attached two Shure Dynamic Instrument Microphones to the bumper above the exhaust to capture the wonderful exhaust note in all of it's glory. The Bullitt actually came from the factory with a specially tuned exhaust to mimic the sound of the original 1968 Mustang GT 390 from the film. About a year after filming this I did add the Ford Racing FR500S mufflers. The tone is still similar to stock, however it is louder and in my opinion really livens up the driving experience even more. Hopefully this Summer I can do an update video on the various modifications I've done to the car in the past 5 years. Thank you for the question and I appreciate you watching the videos :)
Impressive video quality. Last October purchased #314. Only 85.000 kilometers. All stock. Love the car. Hello from Canada.
Greetings from Canada as well #1811, are you in Vancouver
@ryano3610 HI. Yes I am
Sounds awesome. I put the Bullitt mufflers on my 06 GT and with a tune and cold air intake it sounds fantastic when you get on the throttle.
