Thank you for making this video and for sharing your experiences and wisdom! I always get excited for your Q+A's and leave feeling encouraged and challenged!
I had my daughter last year and I named her Corinne Noelle, and I love it because it’s feminine, and it’s also a name that’s always been around, but isn’t too popular. We constantly get compliments on her name.
You’re going to need Sam’s help. Like a lot. If not Sam, then your mom. But it cannot and should not be done alone, for your mental health. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy and postpartum🤎
Essentially, she could do it. Single mom's do it every day. As a mother, you make things happen for your kids with or without dad, and you figure it out.
As a stay at home mom, I do it everyday while my husband is at work! Sam will be there to help her when she’s in a bind, but telling her she cannot do it alone is super discouraging! Yes she will need help and support - everyone does. But she will without a doubt have people to help her when she needs it. Her plan was not to parent and raise her child alone. It is simply to be a stay at home mom. That is completely doable and is not a crazy idea. She will be the best mama to her baby and is capable of taking care of her child alone while her husband is working! But I agree, breaks for mental health are SO important especially in the early days! 🤎
The question about faith crises was really interesting! The Lord is so faithful to give us wisdom in those times For baby names, being someone with a name that people always pronounce wrong, that is my top consideration for my baby (currently pregnant)! It's rough having to correct people at least every week of my life. So I don't really care if my baby's name is super common, for that reason
Just FYI: you CAN get pregnant before your period comes back! You may be ovulating (and not really knowing when because it’s so different with nursing) but not have your period yet!
My favorite names for a girl are Autumn, Adeline, and Faye! We currently have two boys though, so we’re hoping to have a girl one day!😆 So excited for you & this season of motherhood! It’s truly life-changing & teaches you how much the Lord loves us. Becoming a mom, I’ve experienced a closeness with the Lord that I haven’t/ nor do I think I would’ve without it!! Praying blessings over y’all!! 💕💕
I love the vintage names too! Here’s my top two names rn. Elowyn or Evalyn Isla or Ida or Lyla And then Jane for a middle name. So classic and it means God is gracious
@@JaclynBrooke…if you choose Jane for a middle name I highly recommend you spell it with a “y” keeping that same theme as the spelling of your name! … also you could then pronounce it “Janie” -> Jayne or just Jane…😘
Love these q&a videos! I enjoy your thorough answers, you are full of so much wisdom! Thank you for sharing your heart! As for baby names I love Josie, Josie and Jaclyn sound so cute 🫶🏻
I love the old classic names! My youngest daughter is Charlotte. I've loved loved that name for years so I was excited to use it. My oldest my husband picked and that is Samantha. But my other favorites are Ruby, Hazel, Penelope and Annie. So excited for you💗🎀
I think its adorable that you like boys names for girls but honestly I am biased as my mother named me Jonnie and I am a girl. Though this has become more acceptable then in the past, I can tell you from first hand experience people WILL mess it up. I am in my 50's and STILL get called JOAN E when people see it. It is in fact JOHN E. Keep this in mind when naming baby girl. My daughter is expecting her first and just found out she is having a boy, but should she have a girl in the future, her name will be Charlie :)
Hi, we named our baby girl “Esther” from the Bible 🙌🏻💓 now that she’s 6 months old it suits her well with personality showing and she’s such a Queen attitude it’s awesome 👸🏻 🥰🥰
Oooh, I’m a bit of a name aficionado (I literally have a notes app of at least a hundred names) so I’ll try to keep the list small but I really love the names Adelaide, Anya, Audrey, Claire, Freya, Grace, Heidi, Hosanna, Meredith, Phoebe, and Ruby 🩷
We just had a baby girl in June and we named her Hayden. Deciding a name was the hardest thing ever lol! The other names I loved was Addalynn and Claire
We LOVE unique vintage baby names and it definitely played a part in us choosing a name for our baby girl🩷 we named her “Maevis Ellie” (Mae for short which is a family name on both my mom and dads side) She’s now 8 months old. I also love the name Sawyer for a boy or Saylor for a girl.
One of my granddaughters is called Layne and the other is called Willow; My girls are Renee and Maddison . There are so many beautiful names out there. My Nana was called Fae.
My dream is to have 3 girls one day! I want to name them Beatrice, Harriet, and Dorothy. I love that they’re three syllables like my name, all have cute nicknames, and the first syllable is an animal - Bee 🐝, Hare 🐇, and Do 🦌
I don't know how people come up with a name so early in pregnancy! We have no clue and I'm 21 weeks! Probably going into birth with a top 3 and choosing once he's born:)
Jaclynn, thank you so much for sharing about your faith crisis! I so relate & hearing another christian talk about this gives me so much peace 😭🤍
