I can comfortably say that I am one of Kelly’s biggest fan. I’ve seen her 17 times live, 6 times at her show and met her a few times. I WILL SAY THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST INTERVIEWS I’ve watched of her. It felt like I was interning her! He is really a fan and that I exactly how I sound like talking about Kelly! 😅😅

Kelly is to me what Meryl is to her…I remember voting for her over 100 times on a land lined back in September 2002 on the Finale of Idol. As a joke, I take some credit for her being the original American Idol, Grammy winner, Emmy winner, Obama Inauguration artist…..and all that is to come. I pre ordered chemistry but for all her other albums I rushed to Target on the release day to buy them. I bought 10 Wrapped in Red CDs and gave them to friends so they would enjoy Kelly Holiday magic for years to come.
American Idol needed Kelly more than Kelly needed Idol. 21 years later American Idol is still around because she gave it legitimacy right from the beginning. ❤️ you Kelly!

I really hope more people will realize not all mental health meds are the same especially in 2023. Don't be afraid your personality will disappear. You can try a med and if it doesn't work for you, you move on to another one. Brain chemistry is so tricky! But meds can get you through when therapy isn't enough. Therapy doesn't create serotonin, mama!

The level of respect and admiration for Kelly who in my opinion deserves every single flower she receives is so beautiful to watch!! I only know Kelly from her show (I wasn't into American Idol and I'm sure I've heard some of her songs)... and I only know Bowen from SNL (and knew about this podcast but never watched it)... and I have to say I'm hooked! I don't know who Matt is but watching him be over the moon about interviewing Kelly and riffing with her on Mariah, etc. was just joy in a bottle! I really liked listening to Kelly talk about her process and her new album. I've always loved how real she comes across on her show. Great job, all!
