You definitely have to get the rear shock and fork spring upgrade kits to raise the ride height a little.... It's an unbelievable difference between stock, it is one of the best upgrades you can do when upgrading parts, especially since you already did the big one. LoL
Did you do an air shock. Like a downhill bike 165mm or 200mm?
Factory is 150 so the 165 lifts it an 1 or more while the 200 is like a 2 inch lift.

Edwin you need to put a set of Pro Taper Xr 50 bend bars on that. Would handle a lot better and be way more comfortable not to mention look better. I’m building one just from watching this lol

Dope video! Just a recommendation you should definitely get some chain locks, I had the same lock you did, and they were cut with bolt cutters and my $1600 Modded MX650 was stolen, I was able to find the frame but the battery and Kelly was gone
What state you in might make a difference i wouldnt leave anything on two wheels in nc anywhere longer than a walk in and out a gas station with a lock. Florida if your in like marco island your fine but miami hell naw either 😂 suit gone when you get out
I think I have to build one of these. Looks like ultimate fun. I know hear in Michigan is extremely easy to get a bike street legal. Let us know if you can get yours titled!

Razor quad! 5000 watt swap and some suspension. Or just have Ethan weld up a quad bicycle and throw a 5000 watt on that. 🤙
I upgraded my razor with 80v battery and 3000w motor but I went with the cheap chinese kit that includes a crappy controller. The throttle is like a lightswitch..way too torquey from a stop and unpredictable. How is the throttle feel on the electro kit? I just ordered the Kelly controller from them in hopes it will help smooth out the throttle curve. I ended up buying a battery and throttle handle from them too..should have just bought the kit from them in the first place instead of trying to save money..lesson learned!

@@EdwinOlding Would love if you found a way to make it work on off road at least a little. I upgraded mine but the tires are so slick, and especially without front suspension it sucks for anything other than smooth pavement.

I was just thinking while watching your video you could get seat warmers that normally would go in the car for like $35 the seat warmers that you actually put inside the seat they run on 12 volts you could definitely put that around the battery pack to help keep it warm if that's an issue in the snow

@@EdwinOlding Do a video on it man! It's a bit tedious, but super satisfying when done. And if you use the flathead/hex sheet screws, you can create directional cleat type studs. 😎

Haha, that’s a nice toy! I was wondering: you were talking about taking it everywhere, but (almost) in the same sentence you said that you did not know if it was even possible to get a licence for this size bike. How are the rules and regulations where you live? Can you take a bike like that on the streets without a licence and not get fined/get it taken away by the police? I’ve had a dirt bike as well… for five hours, and then it got taken away by mr. Policeman. The Netherlands don’t fool around 😅
Electric bikes are largely unregulated in the states. If I stay off the highway odds are no one will care and they definitely won’t take my bike
not that I would go and build some cool stuff like you guys do, but I am so envious that you just take a pitbike, modify it and go straight about driving it in traffic! here that would get you fined for like 30 of those pitbikes and the electric conversion would be deemed a fire hazard and destroyed

Edwin! I have a crf 50 with a 108 stroker kit/fully modded from the mid 2000 moto days. It’s loud!!!!!! Building out new sled for my next big toy. I’ve rode a one wheel xr and want one, worth it? I skate a lot and think I could ride to the resort with my board or do I just get a surron? Thanks!!!

Surron is a great fun really! A lot of the parts are cheap and could break if you were hard on stuff but there are a lot of good products in the aftermarket

u should not leave it long even with the lock as the battery itself is like 1k if a thief really wanted to they could just steal ur battery its not welded into the frame or even well protected the wires can be unclipped and then sell it for at least 900$-1100$
if you actually get this registered as a moped or something please do a video on it. I've been trying to figure out a way to make it possible. Haven't found a way yet.

As someone who doesnt have that type of budget, do you know any cheaper alternatives for building a rsf650?
Amazon 3000w Kunray kit. That controller is only 50amps and this controller is 200amps max. If you find a better controller you will still save money
You could most likely title this as a trail 70 as those are also a small street legal bike.
