Oh , I think Ambers lawyer did a great job of dealing with Dr Curry. Got her completely hot under the collar. Brought up the very real problem with bias. Showed up very well that Dr Curry was on a side from the start and showed the obvious propensity to be excited about having such a high profile case, which is a real advantage to her career. I'm mean the woman is famous now just with this case. Tell me that's not incentive to paint a picture favourable to JD. She has the power to paint any picture she likes and she picked a side from the start. I don't trust that kind of influence. That's why I'm annoyed JD didn't get a separate psychological evaluation done on him. I love JD just like anyone, but I'm trying to stay completely open till the end of the case. The beauty of the mmpi-2 is that this test is not only the most valid, researched and used test, but it has different validity scales. Which means that test is able to detect lies and other problems in the answering behavior :)
This test is so widely used because of the advantages having validity scales, it makes it very difficult for a person to "fake" responses, deny problems or give a particular impression. It's a strictly licensed test, which means if you don't hold a degree and underwent level 3 training, you can't use the tool or even if you somehow have the test, without training you have no idea how the scales are interpreted together. This makes it very difficult to fake the test as well. It is designed to detect manipulative behavior during testing. 💚

Wow. Thank you for this info! Very interesting never heard of this testing before and I was wondering like how she diagnosed her with a simple conversation? Hahaha. But something tells Amber can't hide it very well at all she can try but her body language is a dead give away. So I bet within 10 minutes into the testing she was already revealing about her mental situation.

That's not true. If you know how to, you can gain access to the MMPI-2. I did the test myself and I've got the results, the issue is that besides the validity scales I cannot interpret it. Granted it would not be admissable in any way since I conducted it without a psychiatrist, but if you look hard enough you can find the MMPI-2 online.

Yes, thank you! It’s quite hard to convey how quantitative therefore impartial most of Dr. Curry’s analyses are and especially MMPI it’s super complicated because the questions go into the different subscales in different subsets and different polarities and 120 of them…. It’s all gonna come out based on Amber‘s answers basically.
Re ptsd I remember reading some article or interview with Amber heard she was being traumatized by hearing about something in the news (I can’t remember what it was maybe something about Harvey Weinstein?) and I remember thinking that it sounded like a caricature of trauma response how she was describing it. And Dr. Curry’s conclusion is exactly like that!

Amber Heard's attorney's are quite despicable. Their entire m.o. is to try to discredit the witness...to try to make them out to be liars, when they are not. That's genuinely despicable in my opinion. Hurting people, by trying to paint them as a liar, and in turn hurting their professional reputation, is so vile. As an attorney, try to find evidence that supports your client, but don't use vile tactics of trying to twist witnesses testimonies...with the goal of making them seem to be liars when they are not. It's very disgusting. God let's pray the jury can see these very vile tactics by Heard's team.

I always hear people saying: "Why did he or she stay so long?" - it's not an easy question for certain people. Let's remember that in order to have a successful abuser, you need to find a good victim that is unwilling to leave. As we can all see in this case, not only she has mental issues but also our Johnny grew up untreated from the childhood and adolescence mental and psychological wounds of a dysfunctional family. Johnny escaped, like many do, from the pain and shame through legal/illegal drugs and alcohol. Sweeping our inner struggles under the rug it's simply an illusion. The 'out of sight, out of mind' kind of thinking is not healthy. Many of us had dysfunctional families growing up. It's definitely not our fault, however once you have the means of getting help, you must address these issues! It's very important for our own health and it helps us to make good choices in life. I have no doubt that Johnny fell in love with Amber's outer beauty and missed the signs of an abuser. Great lesson for all of us. Unfortunately, for many of us is already too late as we recognize this type of behavior in our own skin. Sad but true.

The most dangerous time in a DV situation is when the victim attempts to leave. Therefore, it needs to be done cautiously, wisely & often with help of others. Also, once on tv there were 4 men who admitted to once being abusers. They admitted that "anyone" can become their victim, because when they court/date someone they have a completely different demeanor that you w/never suspect a possible abuser. Courts in the UK are more biased tbh. People over there have successfully sued sperm donors for child support for example.

The Judge had very close connections to AH. His son also posted a article calling Depp a "wife beater" prior to Johnny taking legal action, the Judge had a clear conflict of interest, his own son involved and a number of close personal friends. But this always gets swept under the rug.
Also remember there was no Jury. The entire fate of this case was left in the hands of this Judge.

@@Catladyparkerville Okay phew. I'll try and keep this as short as possible. The Judge in the UK case was Andrew Nicol. The judge had wrote a book with a man by the name of Geoffrey Robertson. Robertson was the mentor and employer of Jennifer Robinson. Who was Jennifer Robinson? She was the counsel for Amber Heard in that case.
That's connection number 1. If you want to others let me know. I'm a bit lazy to put it all in one reply.

she didn't call him by name. She could also argue that she "FELT" that she was in abusive relationship even when it is not factually correct, she would argue that's what she truly believe. I have my doubts that Johnny will win this case... Well since this is a jury case, there is a chance.
