okay, camera tells the truth I need to clean my bass
Anyway: it's been a long road for me. I'm a perfectionist, and the fact that I cover my favorite bass player didn't help with that. I've been recording this cover... well, counting all the takes, probably for half a year. Each time I discovered new flavors in the original track (I didn't manage to capture all of them anyway) then I was like "OK. It NEEDS TO BE RECORDED AGAIN", so it's really fascinating!
The audio may not match the recording 1:1 because I recorded the video separately.

I'm highly impressed...I learned this song, note for note, so long ago, but I play it with my fingers..you play some of the lines different than I do....Regardless.. you covered it very well. Jason IS a monster player. ... One of my top 5 all time favorites..

What the model of bass and the strings do you use?

Yamaha TRBX304! I use D'Addario Nickel wound 45-100 strings. Im also in love with Rotosound 35-90 strings, but such thin strings doesn't go with everything. Probably had them in Defiance cover.
For solo part I used VST AmpliTube with SVX-4B head and SVX-810E amp. I think those are based on Ampeg. For intro and ending it's Bassman 300 with Bass 810 pro
