This has got to be one of my favourite Never Too Small features yet! Sustainable yet spacious, minimalistic but practical. It seems easy to live in and highly functional without a lot of the shortcomings of other small spaces. I would love to see apartments like this popping up all over the globe- they'd be the perfect addition to almost any city, for students, independent adults, and more.
I have really been enjoying "Never too Small," and I must say that this is one of the most innovative and beautiful designs. Very well done. The flow from space to space is so organic and the custom-built storage spaces, kitchen, use of colors, and cabinetry are as good one could hope for.
I do have to agree, thought the same! Very inspiring. Not the fanciest but imho still one of the gems on NeverToSmall. A good example on how to transform a small appartment in an lifeable, authentic and not too fancy and luxurey space. Well done.
You think this is one of the most innovative designs? It’s s regular apartment with a stow-away kitchen. Guess you haven’t checked other videos yet......
@@Wa-wk6qk Most of the apartments are super chic, eye-catching, and perfect for Instagram, but they don't represent any real-life application or real-world use. This space is refreshingly quiet and understated, it serves the owners/residents, not the other way around. BTW Nobody has declared anything as innovative. A folding bed that needs to be folded up daily to use the space for other purposes like eating working or a completly mirrored appartment that you have to clean every week, looks good but is simply not practical in everyday life. ... nor is it innovative aswell. What's your opinion? What's realy innovative? Does a flat needs to be innovative and where?
Bravo, finally a non-white house with realistic spaces in which to live comfortably without having to be a Zen monk . Excellent distribution of space, absolutely functional! I appreciate that it was done in a suburban neighborhood like Madonna di Campagna and not in the city center. A great way to make large areas of the city, which are currently snubbed if not forgotten, more appealing. Davide Minervini, mi segno il tuo nome se mai cambierò casa a Torino !
i really like the design choices he made; the apartment looks way bigger than it really is! also, that walk-in closet is such a treat, i'm glad that he didn't have to sacrifice a lot of space for it.
Bi-fold pocket doors for the kitchen pod - perfect for function and light when preparing food. Beautifully re-designed and styled. A pleasure to see. Thank you. G Ire
Such a cool feature. Would love for him to add a fold out "counter" onto the doors for more prep space. Always an option, though don't might need a bigger pocket. I'm sure you can get pretty creative and make it work, though.
The recessed folding doors around the kitchen space, the custom lighting, the use of colors, and the storage spaces are all beautifully done. One of the best, most-practical and livable city apartment redesigns in the last 101 episodes! Cheers to all involved.
Beautiful and I adore all the thoughtful small touches - things like the desk that lifts for ease of cleaning, the kitchen doors that tuck away, or turning an unusable space into a utilities cabinet but with a door that still lets light in. And I love a small functional entry way with space to keep shoes, I hate feeling like there's no divide between the public hallway and personal space, or needing to traipse all the way through an apartment just to store shoes. These are small details that make an enormous difference to the livability of the space.
One of, if not, the best project that has ever appeared on this channel. Simply sensational. Aesthetic but functional. It really feels like a house where someone lives, unlike some projects that look like they were made for a magazine, with no personality whatsoever.
Genius, this young architect knows what he's doing! Perfect use of space, delicious and simple design, loved the cabinetry, the ceiling lamp which he designed. Well done!
Hands down, one of the most beautiful, practical, and innovative designs we've seen yet. I think this is my favorite. The custom shelving is so beautiful and that blue paint makes me so happy.
Very well done. It makes so much more sense to have the balcony off of the living area instead of the bedroom. Request for future videos: Descriptions of how the plumbing was moved. I can only imagine that was 1/2 the budget.
Every kitchen is a small open living apartment should be done like this. And this is another great example of how the light is stolen from another room. Milky glass does attract MORE light. Well done!
An exemplary design that looks livable without compromises, perfectly executed and clever use of colour. What a talented architect! Thanks for showing us his work.
I really love the colours and inbuilt cabinets . So much storage! The black ceiling really works as the ceilings are high and instead of making the room feel smaller, it almost makes the ceiling disappear! The blue bedroom walls make my heart sing! Wow! The kitchen is also extremely well designed and I loved the kitchen sliding pocket doors. This is a super special small home design!
This apartment is simply amazing. Thinking that an old, disfunctional Italian apartment has been transformed to look THIS good is really mind-blowing. Love everything about it, from the colours to the furniture you used to how the space was rearranged.
This is just stunning. Lots of thought has been put into making this place beautiful and functional. Many small homes look uncomfortable but this is very different. There is a pantry, a sofa that you could spend hours reading a book on, a walk in wardrobe and a desk that you can actually spread your stuff out on. And the blue on the splashback and bedroom walls is just divine!
Wow! This is one of the best uses of space, both the bedroom and the living are HUGE in such a small space, with a very big desk to WFH and even a place for gaming equipment. Awesome! Might be my favourite so far.
This is, by far, one of my favorite designs. I can see myself living in it. I was never fascinated by big spaces and it amazes me how much small spaces can actually accommodate.
La razionalizzazione e fruibilità dello spazio sono la chiave magica che hanno reso questo progetto notevolissimo. Complimenti per il gusto anche nella scelta dei colori e dei materiali. Bravissimo.👏
An interesting custom made triangular light in the dining area. I like both the appearance and the functionality of the convertible dining table. Clever built in storage throughout this apartment.
I love all never too small videos especially ones that change the floor plans and move kitchens and bathrooms around. What I would find so helpful is if you were able to start also showing timelines for how long projects took and estimated costs of the project.
I love this apartment! I prefer when kitchens are hidden when not in use. Swapping the two rooms was also great - I think a balcony in the living space is better than in the bedroom. The translucent partition in the bathroom is a really clever idea, and so is the bar-style desk in the bedroom. I am not surprised that the architect used color so well - I believe Italians are not only great architects in general, but they are exceptionally good with color. Great job!
When someone thinks about how to clean the windows before they complete the design...THEY ARE A DESIGNER 🙌🏾💯 Beautiful and well executed space plan. I've seen a folding kitchen before but never one completed so well the complete disappearance of the doors was pure MAGIC ✨ ❤️🙌🏾 RESPECT. I would only consider changing the colour of the window frame in the bedroom maybe a deeper shade of the blue 🔵 and a leather headboard for the win.
I love how enthusiastic he sounds when talking about certain design ideas. It's really ingenious apartment, and it feels much bigger than it is. It really shows how clever design can maximise functionality of any given space.
My favourite so far. I had to stop and pause and marvel at the above-sink storage for plates and things - drying rack and storage in one. Genius. Every washing up issue I've ever had solved.
This is actually the default arrangement in just about every Italian kitchen I've ever seen - and I've been living in Italy for 50 years. What I don't understand is why Americsn kitchen designers haven't begun using this arrangement long ago.

I LOVE IT. Can't believe how high-end it looks for a small apartment. The finishes and the little details, I think, are what make it seem so fancy. Only thing is I prefer the living room near the window rather than the kitchen.
Excellent, excellent design! as much as I love clever, out-there ideas, this achieved so much by just rearranging space and dedicating space to things exactly. I love it, possibly my current favorite. It pleases both my need for simplicity, elegeant solutions to space problems, and aesthetics.

I love this space. So efficient yet nice to look at without having overly complicated features. My favorite thing would have to be the hidden corner in the bathroom: the addition of that door was genius. I don't know if I would feel the need to hide the kitchen, but it does look great. The only thing I would change is the open storage in the office. I wouldn't like to see my printer in the bedroom and would probably try to build some close shelving on the left side of the desk. I also wonder why he chose to swap the living room/bedroom considering they are roughly the same size.
The little things make this work -- inset wood in the living room with ONE kitchen drawer in wood. The blue is a bit strident but it works. LOVE the gallery wall above the bed. Very inspirational!
The creative design for this small space is brilliant! I wouldn’t change a thing. Thoughtful detail in every space make this a comfortable, beautiful place to live. Well done!
This was turned into a very functional and pleasing apartment. I like that the living/kitchen area now leads to the balcony. I like that a lot better than just having the bedroom leading to the balcony. I also love the paint and tile choices.
Absolutely ❤ this apartment. The kitchen doors are genius, the desk flexibility is genius. Whilst I wouldn’t have gone for black tiles in the bathroom (each to their own), I also love the bold blue colour usage - quite often white is used in small spaces but it works brilliantly - proper Italian blue too 😊
Great apartment! This designer knows his stuff! Such great use of space, clever solutions, practical and really liveable, yet also beautiful to look at. I love all the custom touches and flexibility. Great job!!
Such great design choices. I love the kitchen that hides away and the blue paint used in just the right amount. Also the translucent glass in the bathroom.
Love it! Functional, modern, elegant, poppy colours and smart even if it's a small flat. The black bathroom tiles and ceilings are surprisingly beautiful!
This apartment is so we'll done!!! And it makes me happy that it is from Turin! I have been to this city for 3 months this spring; such a nice place to live!

Even though he’s made the space look bigger, I am co fused by the configuration of the living area. I’d never put a sofa having the only source of natural light behind. It closes the space by looking at a wall. It has enough space to place the kitchen on that wall, then you have the rest for a bigger sofa and storage solutions. Just my preference.

Beautiful, cosy, extremely functional and with so much storage. The colour palette is clever too. I particularly love how the entrance guides you to the living area with a gentle angle.
I like the black wall and wood element of the bathroom. I'm probably not into the modern "clinical" interior. But I appreciate how the designer made the most of the space, especially the closet.
As an Italian, I am familiar with the old apartments of those years; the architect has been very smart in changing the layout and making the most out of mere 39 sqm! Accomodating as many as fourteen guests for Christman is really something. The black tiles in the bathroom are very elegant. I would have just chosen a different colour for the bedroom; overall, a remarkable achievement of a young architect.
I watched all of the "Never too Small" episodes and this one is going to be one of my favoutire. Good size apartment for a couple with big closet, a kitchen that can be fully separated from living/dining space and colours.
i hope you start showing a version of these apartments at night! it would be interesting to see how those lighting look at night

i love it well reprogrammed, i would love to live in there!
Finally an apartment I really like. I would choose different colors than black and blue , but it is outstanding.
This man wasn’t lying when he said he wanted to use all possible space. And the place looks great, too. Well done!
I love the vibe and the lighting in the desk area, and the fact it is on hinges is just amazing. Wonderful work!
This had to be the best layout by sqft ratio I've seen on here. Good job man!!
I love the desk that lifts up for window cleaning..very clever.
I really like this one. It's attractive, bright, and looks comfortable and liveable.
Finally, a design that understands the importance of the sofa and TV combo!
