I Spray-Painted My New Logo Onto My Painting Jacket

- I wanted to customize my jacket for a while now. Since I now have my new logo, I thought it's finally time to get it done.
I used a vinyl stencil, primer/varnish, and spray paint to make it happen.
The plotter I'm using is the Cameo Silhouette 4. It's not the biggest and most efficient, but it totally gets the job done for me. I only use it to make stencils for spray painting logos for client murals and things like that. It rarely gets more advanced than that.
I got inspired by @SMOENOVA to custom paint my logo on my jacket. Check out his channel, he's the man!

that is so much more clean than my own jacket! well done! I should have done it with a clear primer as well.. hahaha but you got a sign of the gods to put your name there, because the logo itself is useless, as nobody knows what to search for. Anyone who sees it should be able to know who did this - this is why I went with a full type logo and not a sign + name, because i want everyone always everywhere to 100% know who is this guy and what to search for. Little hint: SMOE NOVA logo gloves coming soon... because Hands are always in frame as well! So please put your name on top of the logo!

I think it would be pretty cool if you covered the whole logo and then do random splatters with colors that you love ( do it on the iPad or PC before so you can see it clearly before doing it on the jack ) .. I loved the idea of the logo on the jacket bro it’s so freakin dope man amazing work keep up bro 👍🏽🔥

I loved this idea! you executed it really well and the final product looks legit!
The position of the logo wasn't a really noticeable issue, but if you'd like to balance it more I would suggest maybe using your name "Nick Moody" written on top of the logo.. that way it fills that blank space that you hated and would be relevant and still professional.

in a video Smoe teach how to get sharp letters using stencils. first you have to give a hand of paint with the background color..in this case, black. then you paint it with white and orange..and it really works..afterall you got the same result with primer. Nice video bro
Yeah i usually do it that way. But I needed to prime the fabric anyways so that kinda worked as well 👌

@@NickMoody Ja voll, gerade eben für Schriftzüge wäre es eine große Arbeitserleichterung. Bin mir aber bei diesem wegen der Schneidebreite noch unsicher, da es ja nur 30cm oder so sind. Und der Cameo 4 Pro hat einige beunruhigende Rezensionen bezüglich Qualität und Funktionstüchtigkeit. Dann vielleicht lieber der Kleine, wenn er gut funktioniert.
@@roxs_love Also es gibt glaub ich wenige Tools, die einem so die Arbeit erleichtern, wie ein Plotter es tut. Du bist einfach 100mal schneller als alles von Hand zu schneiden. Der Plotter im speziellen hat mir eigentlich immer gute Dienste erwiesen. Es passiert ab und an mal, dass was schief geht, aber das liegt vermutlich eher an meinen Plotter Skills haha 😂 Was die Größe betrifft, reicht das eigentlich völlig. Ich plotte eigentlich nie Schriften oder Logos die höher als 30 cm sind.
Ich hatte auch überlegt mir einen richtigen, großen zu holen. Aber dafür nutze ich das Ding einfach zu wenig aktuell. Vielleicht irgendwann.
