The walnut inlay design feature looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing, I will now be able to look at my mistakes differently. What could have been a costly mistake really enhanced the finished piece.

I like the walnut accent and I think it is perfect for the desk as it adds more natural color to it. The inset shelving is a great idea and something I have not thought of before. The desk looks great and this was a very helpful tutorial.

Great Looking desk Shara. Everything you build looks great. You have a nice eye for good aesthetically looking pieces. While I can't speak for others, I for one, love watching all your builds because I learn so much from watching you. I don't build often, so I still consider myself as learning the craft. I say that because it doesn't bother me if you make "lots of desks." You have given us a big library of other creative builds and I'm certain there's plenty more to come. Like someone else said in the comments, if that's what the customer wants, then that's what you build. It's a small phase of "lots of desks." You're good Shara. We will not stop supporting you because you make like 5-10 desk videos in a row. They have all been different desks and I have learned so many great techniques from the different needs and challenges each desk has presented to you in the build.

Funny this is second vid of yours on desks to pop up on my YT feed. It funny or scary because yesterday my GF and I spent day unsuccessfully looking for home office computer desks. Pandemic has desks in short supply. I started to think build one. Last night first one of yours popped up and this morning this L shape desk which my GF wants. LOL. I would need something a bit simpler not having full wood shop.

It’s kind of a little scary...but apparently helpful since it showed you some options haha. I’m not sure which options you’ve seen, but I went on a desk building spree the last few months and have several designs to check out if you’re interested. This one is really simple (I’ve had countless people send me pictures of making it after I posted the video) and could be configured modularly to make an L shape:

My phone honestly takes better video but it’s a nightmare trying to get files from my phone to my laptop to edit so I bought a camera.

I thought the two tone look with the walnut looked awesome! Remember, as Bob Ross once said..."We don't make mistakes, we have happy little accidents." Lol.

Hi! Yes I quit using PayPal in my store. It caused all kinds of headaches and kept raising their fees and wasn’t worth dealing with anymore.
