I fell in love with Pokeys music in 2010, & what an evolution he has gone through man. his sound back than was tight & like nothin else but he just got better & better. Hearing Pokey live is mesmerizing & beautiful. when he had his horns & those badass jams esp.. but When hes solo tho with just his guitar.. you become a witness to greatness
Pokey is the best live. What a show this band puts on! Such talent! He rocked a Friday night in beautiful Fall River. He kept saying "It's Friday night and we ain't stoppin'" and he never did stop. Must see fo sho.
Saw Pokey twice in Melbourne Australia. He was with Megan then. I think Addie is an incredible addition to the lineup and I can’t wait to see them all together!🔥🔥👏🏻
Can’t wait to see you in Leeds UK in late November. Tried to see you in Newcastle UK a couple of years ago but you cancelled at last minute. Fingers crossed this time
End november he will be in Paris at the fabulous Rex Club where all the big stars of jazz and country or blues played from 1946.....I wait for this from longtime 'cause Pokey Lafarge is one of my favourite... like Richard Crawley in England...!!!
South city three didn’t drink the kool aid. Unfortunately they are all driving Ubers now. Bill Monroe went through band members like socks. I miss those guys.
I was Introduced to Pokey’s music a few months ago at a chance meeting with an old high school friend. I was detoxing from a prescription drug and his music got me through some tough nights. Where have I been for the past 15-20 years? Pokey is the man and may be in a league of his own. Made the trip to Torrey, Utah to catch him at a music festival. I hope the next time I see him, it’s with him as the headliner playing as long as he wants. Great sound, talent, and stage presence. Go Pokey!
@@eclectic801 His song and video for "Fuck Me Up" was a classic. First time I saw him, he apologized to the crowd for not ever wanting to play that song again. He simply said to us "I don't want to GET fucked up anymore" and the crowd gave him big time applause in support. Already loved the Man, but that gave me mad respect to kick one of his big hits to the curb along with his demons. I will never, and have never missed a tour since. Go Pokey indeed!!
I don't love it when male musicians get married and then bring their partner everywhere. Pokey sounds best by himself or harmonizing with other men. Same with Tim O'Brien. I understand how it's healthier for the marriage for both partners to be onstage and touring together, but this arrangement introduces a foreign element that doesn't quite work and saps the vitality of the music. It would be better if she got a solo or two than to be integrated into every song.

Just saw this act in Columbus. The band is tight. Great performer. Makes you want to dance.
We REALLY wanted to see that show, but were out of town on that date. Glad to hear it was great!
I was there too. I only knew one song before the show but watching videos I knew it would be a great concert. Glad he came after 10 years.
Saw him the night before in Woodstock NY great show
Levon Helms barn

Whats not to love about this man and his band! Such a great sound!

Thank you to his ancestors
👍yeah, that’s the good stuff
I hope the coronet player / guitar player gets paid twice, because he rocks with both instruments.
he got the pop sound down,,,where is the south city three??? TJ and Chloe ???
What’s wrong with changing the lineup? Artists do it all the time.
@@wyganter nothing until you go the wrong direction,,,,pokey now is a pop musician
@@tomstiel7576 Were you mad when Dylan picked up an electric guitar?
@@wyganter no,,,,were you ?

Where is the great clarinet player?
WTF Kennedy Center! Stop with the pride crap! I'm here for music!
Addie, blink twice if Pokey's holding you hostage. You are so out of his league, lol.
Um, they are married.
Her trying to upstage him is annoying.

Female vocal too prominent over powering on harmonies
I don’t like Pokey with Yoko……
