I don’t get why they didn’t add phonk to this game…if they wanted to use music of the generation that’s a lot more fitting with current scene and trends compared to what we did get…
I guess when NFS finally made a game set in Japan, we'd probably get the entire soundtrack playlist consisted nothing but Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, One Direction, BTS, Blackpink, and soundcloud reject mumble rappers instead of Eurobeat, Trance, and J-Rock/J-Pop let me point out an example, Never Ending Symphony by Maaya Uchida would be a real banger for a soundtrack on any racing games but instead they'll pick up Esketit by Lil Pump for races

who said i didnt enjoy the ost? i have some of the songs of the ost like eyez on em by icytwat and babushka boy and shittin me by a$ap rocky on my playlist. this was as a fun alternative to the trailer. no bashing the original ost
Exploring new music by video games is part of the experience. When i played need for speed back then, I discovered new songs i might never heard. If developers give us new musics and choose it for us, this is brilliant. I will not turn on Spotify and play different songs. Plus in-game music always smoothly than Spotify because it changes and stuff.

Phonk is huge in the drift scene (and car community at large) right now, I'm still waiting for a racing game to capture that in the soundtrack.
