12:00 A couple of months ago, they shared a survey about the future of the game. It included questions like which other series would you like to see in the game. Options included IMSA, ELMS, ALMS, as well as historic classes like LMP1 and Group C. Basically, every historic Le Mans class was available to choose from. So, if the game ends up being profitable, I don't think we'll have to worry about a lack of content
I use to drive ACC a lot, but the Nordschleife release spoiled it to me - it exposed ACCs biggest flaw, the suspension. Now I play LMU a lot and while it's not perfect it is extremely good in online races. Yesterday I had a 90min Monza multiclass race where it's a 3 stopper unless you save fuel and don't change tires. Finished 1st in the GTE class after saving fuel like a madman. Crossed the finish line with 0.6L and 0.4s to the guy behind me. That's what simracing is all about. Also their safety and driver rating is really good.
Too many bugs, for example i love the game but there is a bug with thrustmaster wheels that turns FFB for the entire computer session, wont tunr back on until the computer is restarted. Makes me really not want to play the game even though when ffb is working the game is amazing

@@L_Emir_de_Passy I agree, tbh in ACC I connect feeling of weight with the unsolvable understeer of the game, front just won't ever properly bite into the corner so it feels heavy.

Ive jumped back into LMU this week after working out a tidy setup for my moza R9 and the GTEs and LMP2s feel amazing tbf, abit vague when the tires are cold out the pits but after a fast outlap or two push laps and the tires are up to temp you can really start to feel the what the cars doing and start pushing hard
When they first started talking about this game, if I remember correctly, they said that they would eventually add historic content. So historic tracks and layouts and historic cars. That would add a lot of extra content to the game that is not in modern WEC. I would LOVE to drive Ferrari vs Ford in a polished sim like this if they follow up on it. Really looking forward to driver swaps in this game. When that comes I will come back to it more. I play iRacing, LMU, AC and RBR right now. ACC I am soooooo bored with after 3+ years playing only ACC GT3. Nothing wrong with the game but I am bored with GT3 in general
As always, brilliant content. The insight you give in a non biased way makes it easier to understand the differences between them all. 2025 will be a MASSIVE year for sim racing. Let's also hope it's a MASSIVE year for you IRLR. 😊
This update looks insane. Compared to ACC the kerb driving is so much nicer and the sound and current track versions is super good. Hope to see the game have a great future because it’s not certain yet unfortunately. Thanks for showing us the new LMGT3 cars!
Bought LMU this weekend and love it! My only issue of note is that the FFB at low speeds is almost lacking and I end up spinning out. It’s like iracing but on another level. Fix this and you have a winner imo.
To answer your final question, my friends and I have been sticking with AMS2 over the last couple years because it offers a nice variety of car classes, and a huge variety of tracks. Its also super easy to set up a multiplayer server, invite your friends, and add a grid full of AI drivers to round out the server. You dont have to pay per hour to host a server, and no special tools or knowledge are needed to host your own server and race with your friends in a full lobby. If we want to race GT3s, we have the cars and tracks to always have fun events to do. We also love racing the German Group A cars, which was expanded with v1.6 with the Audi Quattro. We also love racing in the Mini JCW cars on tracks like Brands Hatch, or Laguna. AMS2 just has a nice spread of content to explore, and its really flexible. We also jumped into LMU following the release of their co-op events. Like you said, the forcefeedback in LMU is just fantastic, the audio and visual aspects of the game are really well done and I have found myself enjoying jumping online and racing in a few events over the week, on top of doing the co-op events each month. There are some features that I would love to see added. I just hope this title keeps getting support.
This with emphasis on being able to setup your own server without having to pay per hour. I feel like LMU really took a step back by not allowing self host servers so that friends can get together and race AI.
@@Miellat34 That is what I and op said. Having to pay to host a server is dumb; just allow people to self host and play together without having to pay for it.
I just started playing it and went to spa francorchamps and immediately crashed it coming out the pits hahah I got caught. But once I started it felt really really good, I struggled a bit understanding when my pit in was finished it needs more visuals
This is looking nice! I must say I have similar concerns with LMUs future. The official license might just limit the possible tracks, many of which are unpopular "Tilke" designs build for F1.
Maining ACC, I love the online reliability of LMU. The FBB is lovely (though a bit morr picky than in ACC) and there’s TC3 which has proven to be nice. Also love how cold tyres behave. But I hate how the slightest oversteer seems to be fatal in LMU whereas in ACC you can do an oversteery setup yet still countering it feels more natural
Yeah I said it several times on streams that I very much not agree with the money model in LMU. I get it why they do it but not 100% agree with it so far.
The subscription model is not mandatory so just don't buy it. Other games that doesn't have a subscription model also doesn't have an online model that works outside of 3rd party additions like LFM. Hosting servers and maintaining a good online service cost a lot of money so if you want to be part of the extra online content I think it's fair to pay for it. And unlike iRacing you get all content included if you go with the highest subscription model (including RF2 content). Personally I prefer to pay subscription over having to rely on 3rd party for good online variety
Coming from driving GT3s in ACC and AMS2, LMU's implementation of GT3 cars is.. different shall I say. I got used to the GT3 in AMS2 pretty quickly and I agree with what you said in terms of responsiveness in AMS2 it is actually great. ACC I can confirm that weight-y feeling when I drive the cars and it's more nervous shall I say. In LMU, I'd say the cars sort of feel very lazy in the front (maybe I can change some setups there but yeah, and it doesn't help that LMGT3s are widely known to be slower) and the brakes take some time to get used to. I lock up a lot even with 11 ABS and 49.8/50.2 split still but over time I got less and less lockups. Overall, though, GT3s are fun to drive in LMU but it'll get some getting used to for sure in the beginning.
LMU driverswap and endurance when? My guess is that the first between LMU and AMS2 to fix driverswap, will capture the drivers from ACC/AC1 aswell. Thats what I'm waiting for the most as they both are way better than other titles out there in terms of fun. Just need driverswap
@@Jardier There are so few FFB options in LMU. I can't seem to find a sweet spot. When I add enough damping to stop all the oscillation, I lose detail. I am having a difficult time agreeing with people who praise the FFB in this game. Mainly because it feels like every bit of feedback in LMU is kicking the wheel left and right rather than supplying more vibration feel that reflects what the tires are doing on different surfaces. It could be that this is why I take TrueForce for granted. I really feel when the tire is loaded vs. sliding not just with FFB strength but also resonance/vibration through the wheel. I'm very attuned to it now, so when I use an older sim (RF2/AC) that doesn't support TF, I feel like I've lost a channel of feedback that I have in iRacing, AMS2 and ACC. And it's not in LMU, either. Even RaceRoom, which does not support TrueForce, supplies tactical vibration senses which allow me to "feel" what the car is doing on the surface of the road more, so maybe technically you don't HAVE to support TrueForce to add that. Anyway, long story short, LMU just wrenches my wheel around on me without giving me 'feel'.
@RandyMagruder Do you isually drive with hands off the wheel? If so - STOP. Oscillation is in every sim. You dial it out with dampening. Dialing it out completely doesn't make much sense, unless you drive with hands off. It's a compromise. I'd rather have a sim that allows all the detail to come through oscillations included, than a mushy, laggy mess ala ACC, but without oscillations.
@@slatanek there needs to be a little damping so that the car responds like a real car would. However it should not require so much damping it compromises feedback. But thanks for suggesting we can only have the two extremes. Very helpful.
Finaly someone speaking about crappy ffb. Could not ageee with u more. Rennsport has similiar problem with ffb. Also subscription for mp? Rly? Charging for dlc in early access? I think im gonna spend my moneyZ on evo😊
Why did Corvette use a proportional font for the numbers on their cars' displays? In both GTE and GT3 cars the rev counter is just very distracting jumping back and forth.
ABS kicks in for ACC as well, you just need to have a good wheel - G Pro with Trueforce. Gave no idea how you guys feel anything without Trueforce, honestly.
Hmmmm i think graphics looks little different but good? Both are really nice, i would have to play with it a bit more. I think acc runs a little better in general speaking in terms of optimalization. Otherwise both look great:)
@ Do you think it will take a long time for ACC to die? It is one of my favorites and I am afraid that this simulator will not last long with the recent growth of ams2 and LMU Of the simulators that you have told me which one do you think has a very long future and that it is worth focusing only on it?
I’ve had no luck with this sim and set up…These cars and tracks look phenomenal however haven’t been able to find a set up that makes the sim itself enjoyable. I’m confident it’s this game is too good to not be..
I'm gonna ruffle some feathers here. Have you ever driven a GT3 car on the track? Because ACC in my experience is probably the worst if the simulators in actual physics and car behavior. It may be what you like and what youre used to. And ACC is good fun. But it's probably the furthest from reality in my experience. I'm not a pro driver. But I have a lot of track experience. Iracing, LMU, and even AMS2 with the res ent update and proper FFB settings are all closer to reality.
I drove Alpine GT4 and Porsche GT4, Lamborghini Super Trofeo and KTM GTX (which is around 1-2s slower than GT3 but same base). So not GT3 but pretty close, plus my friend is James Baldwin who is massive esport simracer and GT driver irl :D
@Jardier yeah I've driven the 992 GT3 and GT3 Cup. Huracan GT3, an old 430 GTLM and a 488 GT3. As well as tons of track cars we've built. Worked for a race team that ran the Viper GT3 cars and older CTS V race cars. I guess it's funny the way opinions differ. Lol. But the cars in ACC just simply do not behave the way real cars do with inputs. Theyre fun to drive. But they're both too floaty and WAY too forgiving. Lack the initial bite and response of GT3 cars and allow you to get away with and do way more mid corner. I've never found them intuitive at all.
@@charlesgutscher1923 As said many times, not a single sim is perfect, every sim does something "good" but never whole package. ACC gives me feel of weight transfer of the car, iracing gives me suspension feeling, lmu gives me correct force feedback, ams2 gives me responsivness. None of them gives whole package. Most important is to have fun, recently "which is more realistic" has been very annoying because nobody actually is :D
It's ridiculous if commentators parrot each other about Motorsports. LMU will live because it's good! And great Devs will stay great Devs, they don't get lost. So, support the best current Sim by just playing it!
@@slatanek "best" according to who? You? Best implies it's at the top, and it's obviously not. At the end of the day, it's ALL opinionated anyway. I'm sure there's hardcore fanboys out there that will argue with you that games such as need for speed are "best racing games".
Anyone know if this update has fixed some of the game crashing... i stopped playing because it would crash all the time. I love this game but cant get two lap two in lemans and or skipping a session it would crash.
Right? I mean I'd say LMU has a very good feel of weight at the limit. I think ppl often mistake the ACC "passenger seat" oversteer slides (where you're locked into a slide until it unlocks) for inertia.
i disagree about the weght feel in ACC, i dont feel the weight in ACC at all.. i also dont feel the tires either. The communication i have ever felt in any sim game is rFactor 1 and 2 and LMU...
Aston and Ford coming, not sure about Lexus, was it racing in WEC 2024? If yes I hope it will come, but even ACC had licence issues thats why car never got updated (and we never got toyota)
In answer to your question...I know some people will roll their eyes or scream 'gimmick', but the absence of TrueForce in LMU has been very....noticeable. You feel so much more communicated through the wheel with TrueForce and any sim that doesn't support it (AC, RF2, LMU) really feels comparatively lifeless in FFB compared to those that do (iRacing, ACC, AMS2).
I hear everyone say, LMU's ffb is better than ACC's, while I don't like it at all, too grainy, I don't seem to feel the tires, but only the roughness of the track. And my base is a Simucube 2 Pro...
Im talking about tyre model and car weight, but why would i lock wheels? I mean let me tell you - i drove three gt cars in last two years and coach always told me "hit the brake pedal as hard and as fast as you physically can, dont worry you wont lock up"...
The AI if setup correctly are super fun to race against and they will fight back unlike any other sim I know (iRacing might be the exception). The aggression slider is very important.

I have no forcefeedback in LMU whatsoever. Simagic Alpha +P1000 pedals and FX pro wheel
Finaly someone speaking about crappy ffb. Could not ageee with u more. Rennsport has similiar problem with ffb. Also subscription for mp? Rly? Charging for dlc in early access?
I think im gonna spend my moneyZ on evo😊
fantastic VR.
Hold your horse for the updates, it will get better and better 💪
Any Information when we will se lamborghini Gt3 Cars ?
Действительно выглядит классно. Буду пробовать на геймпаде))
Im new to sim racing, got the Moza R12. Currently have AMS2, should I get Assetto Corsa? Is it that much better?
Yeah for me also, lmu is visuals and ffb king. iracing i like the handling and online part. Enjoy both tbh.
Hello Jardier
Could you share your FFB setting with your simagic wheelbase ?
Thx a lot 👌
This game looks and feels so good. Really really hope they stick around and become a competitor
Why did Corvette use a proportional font for the numbers on their cars' displays? In both GTE and GT3 cars the rev counter is just very distracting jumping back and forth.
Awesome video Jardier ! Can you please share your fov settings for lmu please. I’m switching from acc to lmu and want a similar fov to acc.
ABS kicks in for ACC as well, you just need to have a good wheel - G Pro with Trueforce.
Gave no idea how you guys feel anything without Trueforce, honestly.
Jardier, do you really think that graphics here are better than, for example, ACC? What exactly do you like here, I really want to hear your opinion
Hmmmm i think graphics looks little different but good? Both are really nice, i would have to play with it a bit more. I think acc runs a little better in general speaking in terms of optimalization. Otherwise both look great:)
@@Jardier Thank you for your reply! Really appreciate it
Since I discovered RF2 and LMU, I can't drive ACC anymore because I don't "feel" the car. It is the complete opposite,strange..
Wish there was a console version. Us console guys are always getting the least
What is the best option for someone who likes simracing but doesn't want to dedicate themselves to iracing? obviously talking about a player on pc
ACC, AMS2, LMU on PC and also you can join LFM for online racing in ACC and AMS2, or daily racing LMU for example
@ Do you think it will take a long time for ACC to die?
It is one of my favorites and I am afraid that this simulator will not last long with the recent growth of ams2 and LMU Of the simulators that you have told me
which one do you think has a very long future and that it is worth focusing only on it?
No damage model?
week sound I prefer ams 2 sounds
Ams2 is for simracing Andys
It requires to pay for online play?
no not for a driver
@@JardierI don't have a dog in the fight but your friend said that the best implementation of the 720 is in LMU.
"best current Sim"...which is what?
@TheoFortin-e8j You should really give it a go in the longer online races. It is the best sim network code wise. And that's not its only strength.
Lets see tomorrow mate, we will be streaming and playing a lot so lets see, i also hate it so pls hope its fixed🤣
Your ffb is not setup properly. That's why you don't feel the weight of the car. Also tires is not ready. Also maybe setup is loose
How about the Lexus?
Aston and Ford coming, not sure about Lexus, was it racing in WEC 2024? If yes I hope it will come, but even ACC had licence issues thats why car never got updated (and we never got toyota)
@@Jardieryes it did, it’s coming in the next update alongside the Aston, ford, Porsche, and lambo
Don't like the new GT3's not a patch on GTE's or LMP2's
it's obvious you favor ACC...
Just in terms of “feeling the tyre model”, otherwise lmu has better ffb and sound and netcode looks great so far
Damn, these cars are really slow in a straight line.
Yeah that's WEC spec
LMGT3
I hear everyone say, LMU's ffb is better than ACC's, while I don't like it at all, too grainy, I don't seem to feel the tires, but only the roughness of the track. And my base is a Simucube 2 Pro...
No lexus No DLC
next DLC, so q1 2025.
The Track in France it say Le Mans without S. This Track it say not Le Month.
AC does that abs ffb, its not something new.
I tune it down because I found it disturbing in a way, 5% of it is fine
"spoiled frim ACC" 😂😂😂. Nice one Jardier. Spoiled for never locking your wheels maybe..?🤔😊
Im talking about tyre model and car weight, but why would i lock wheels?
I mean let me tell you - i drove three gt cars in last two years and coach always told me "hit the brake pedal as hard and as fast as you physically can, dont worry you wont lock up"...
Did you try AMS 2 1.6 with GT3's/Hypercars at Le Mans? I know you're excited to do it in LMU, but .... um, it's been there in AMS 2 :)
yeah but LMU is sim and AMS2 simcade :D
@@kolysion164 hahahahahah yeah NO.
@@RandyMagruder of course :D
@@RandyMagruder this idiot spams every AMS2 video with similar comments. Just another troll to ignore.
to be fair its not really gt3 its lmgt3. they are slower and yeah the A.I have cheating brakes lol
The AI if setup correctly are super fun to race against and they will fight back unlike any other sim I know (iRacing might be the exception). The aggression slider is very important.
@@slatanek they are. ive now dialed them in and loving the sim.
Personally, I don't care. GT3 is in every sim ever made, and LMU is pretty much dead.
To you my friend.
Huh.. Lol
