SOCOM 1 and 2 were so awesome. I liked Killzone as well. Tribes AA was the first game I played online on the PS2. That and SOCOM were my favorites. I enjoyed Hardware Online Arena as well. Too bad it’s not on this list, maybe it hasn’t been revived yet? In Europe I participated in so much beta tests. Always fun when you got a beta disc in the mail. SLAI was a very interesting mech brawler with lots of customization options but I remember it to be incredibly hard to advance in.
It's surreal just seeing footage of PS2 online modes. I'm sure barely anybody recorded footage of these games during their heyday. Without these modders, these games would just be relegated to folktales.
Resident Evil Outbreak is lots of fun if you can get some friends together. It plays like an escape room game, and it doesn't get dull on multiple playthroughs.
I never got to play the PS2 online when I was a kid because we had shitty dial-up internet, so I didn’t start playing online until I got a PS3. I am very interested in going back and playing some of these and seeing what it’s like
Definitely the most competitive game series I’ve ever played siege came close but no because not only were you playing for rank but clout then the offline was great still not a game like that I remember that Albanian mission with Sabre and Reaver and yelling in my headset at the dude with the purple shirt to get on the ground throwing flashbangs at him 😂 or on S1 saying bravo team stealth to foxtrot…(alarms and gunfire in the distance)bravo team has been incapacitated 😂 just a all around amazing time but the online was rough

I'm surprised people still play PS2 online, since online gaming wasn't as popular back in 6th generation of consoles compared 7th generation.
i was personally too poor to even have internet back then
I just never been thought of it being a possibility tbh. Until I got an OG Xbox and got the wireless adaptor they offered I never gamed on a console.
Glad you mentioned SWB2 because I remember playing on the original Servers for Star Wars Battlefront 2! Even tho it was on PC but still that game was and still is a lot of fun.
I definitely need to play Battlefront 2 on the PS2 again, it’s amazing to even find 5 people on it in 2024!!
Amazing video brethren you killed it once again! Proud of you 😁💯🔥✨
Tribes AA was one of the funnest communities in gaming back in the day.
Great video tho, I was wondering whne you'd do the playstation 2
Please do a "most active Dreamcast Online games!"
Got a exploring DEAD Dreamcast games coming very soon 😄
A game that in the PS2 version does not have an online version but nowadays people play online via emulator and even compete in championships is Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3. A channel that shows this well is UA-camr Marlon Chaves, he is Brazilian
@@pixeldokka Do you know if they play using xlink Kai? Thank you for letting us know!!
@@MAWK3 idk :/ maybe the channel made a tutorial video..
@@MAWK3 youtube.com/@marlonchavesmcr?si=nqKfmem4WDCgFoLz the channel here 🔥🔥🔥

I have heard many people pronounce Espresso as Expresso, but Exspecially is a new one
23:23 Legend of Zelda: Orchery and time
@@trollloloololooo oh fucking kill me
Totally love your channel man!
I used the play the demo of Conflict: Global Terror on PS2 back in the days on loop, so much memories.
Thanks man!
Thank you dude! Apreicate the support 🙏
I recommend you checking out "Motorstorm Arctic Edge" in the next revision.
Keep it up MAWK3, you're videos are awesome and you put it so much effort into researching and getting you're own gameplay footage. Slowly but surely your channel will grow, you definitely deserve a lot more subs than you have right now. 🤞🤞🤞
Thank you so much for the kind words man! It really means a lot 🙏
Damn I’m so lucky I found this channel by randomly falling asleep to a asmon video 😂 thanks for the nostalgia and information keep up the outstanding work and content
Always a good day when MAWK3 uploads, Another great video and i'm sad i don't have my PS2 around (currently getting repaired), I would have loved to play MGO and a couple other games but i feel like there wouldn't be many players at EU/Asia region, Keep on trucking my friend!
@TheDudeWithNoName Thank you brother as always! It still worth checking out regardless 😁
Hey! I'm one of the fellow players that play RE: Outbreak on a regular basis since many years ago, it's a formula that just doesn't get boring and we tend to play every map in order across both games in one sitting. If you need someone to guide you through the game or give you some insights, I'm willing to help. I'd do anything to attract new players to our small community
I think I will give it a go. Love Resi games.
These PS2 games had more people playing them than Concord 🤣🤣
That's great to see online on ps2 still working..and thank you for making this great list...and I hope you find us psp and psvia games that work online in the future...and thank you again
Oh man, when i was 15 i used to play Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition every Day!...i even still remember some of the Names of the People i played with. Good Times.
love the intro! ha thanks for the shoutouts, everyone is welcome to play splinter cell chaos theory with us. appreciate your work 🥷
Nice editing on the intro 👌
SOCOM 1 and 2 were so awesome. I liked Killzone as well. Tribes AA was the first game I played online on the PS2. That and SOCOM were my favorites. I enjoyed Hardware Online Arena as well. Too bad it’s not on this list, maybe it hasn’t been revived yet?
In Europe I participated in so much beta tests. Always fun when you got a beta disc in the mail. SLAI was a very interesting mech brawler with lots of customization options but I remember it to be incredibly hard to advance in.
Finest hour campaign bring back so much nostalgia
The amount of effort that went into this video is crazy! Great video man!
Thanks a ton! 🙏
which song did you use at the beginning of the video because I LOVE IT
Bullworth Academy theme I think
It's surreal just seeing footage of PS2 online modes. I'm sure barely anybody recorded footage of these games during their heyday. Without these modders, these games would just be relegated to folktales.
Nfsu2, lotr return of the king, and thps2 were my go to games back in the day for online play
Resident Evil Outbreak is lots of fun if you can get some friends together. It plays like an escape room game, and it doesn't get dull on multiple playthroughs.
Up your arsenal was my first experience with online gaming way back when. Glad to see people are still doing their thing on it
I never got to play the PS2 online when I was a kid because we had shitty dial-up internet, so I didn’t start playing online until I got a PS3. I am very interested in going back and playing some of these and seeing what it’s like
27:11 I love seeing my car with ps2 graphics, its such a vibe.
Dude me too! I imported my EP3 from Japan a few years ago. Best car I have ever owned.
@@MAWK3 hell yeah brother, that's sick.
Who else misses the orange and green tint filters from the PS2 gaming days?
Big Red One my beloved
Mortal kombat deception and amorgaddeon have some online but their discord is hard to find
Hi bro! Great job as always! Thanks a lot for remembering me!
Of course!
Wonder if you can play these games online using the PCSX2 emulator
Pretty sure all of them work via emulation online to!!
Tribes is an amazing game! Highly recommended ❤
Really enjoying these types of videos keep it up bro
single player games having multiplayer modes was the bomb during ps2 and ps3 era
If I'm not wrong Ratchet Deadlocked is more popular than UYA. It's got more players coming for weekly events.
Love ur videos about the ps2 and ps3
@@ozymandias96 🙏
Socom was godly... area 51 still goes strong as well. I heard.
I love the fact that Gran Turismo 4 had the odd cars that's what made it special I would also like to know if there is people playing Killzone on PS3
I still play Socom 2 online often.. also MGS4 Online & Socom Confrontation on PS3 🔥
