It is fun, but it doesn't feel like a resident evil game. @@WillBadBoyBR let’s hope capcom doesn’t go back to their sad RE3 Remake ways, which is kinda hinted with RE: Verse. Let’s just hope they don’t find a way to butcher the best game, best of luck man.
It’s funny how RE3 remake, a short and rushed game, called this fun and lengthy game a disaster. It wasn’t resident evil, but atleast it wasn’t rushed and didn’t take a single hour to beat.
It wasn't rushed, it was developed alongside RE 2. A rushed game would be of a very low quality, despite it's length, it's quality is still up to par with RE 2 and RE 7.
@@EmperorSarco Maybe you didn't look at games that are high quality but feel rushed in terms of story and gameplay. RE3make isn't a fully fleshed out game compared to its predecessor. There is so much game time to explore everything in RE3, while RE3make feeling like it's lacking that exploration in its core gameplay. Also, Nemesis seems to be showing more transformation in the RE3make, but when you compare it to the original? Goddamn it makes Nemesis feel pathetic because in the original, it took Nemesis a long time to transform himself to different forms, while RE3make made him look like he transforms after a short while. Also, did I forgot to mention he doesn't kill any S.T.A.R.S. members in the remake? Yeah, he just goes after Jill so much in the remake that him uttering "S.T.A.R.S." became utterly pointless.
@@leonmystique9372 @Leon Mystique TLDR: OG RE 3 had minimal exploration. The map and level design was fairly linear. And so that made it into the remake. The main difference is that the map is noticably not as long, Uptown and Downtown don't connect which reduced backtracking, live choices and some of the branching paths are removed. But overall both lack the interconnected and complex maps of Resident Evil 1 and 2. Most importantly the amount of time you are given to explore is a measure of quantity, not quality. Both have quality, but the remake overall has less in terms of quantity. And the stories are practically the same. As for Nemesis: 1. Appearances are slightly less the original, but overall chase and boss sequences tend to be longer in the remake. 2. Nemesis not killing Brad isn't very significant. In both games, Brad had already encountered Nemesis and was clearly injured from it. At that point Nemesis was just chasing easy prey, not to consider that Brad lacked the experience Jill has with mutants. 3. As for Nemesis mutating, he does mutate earlier and more dramatically than the original. But I don't know if that makes him more pathetic or just that more of a monster. That's a whole other argument. The long argument: But the live choices didn't make any significant story or absolutely game changing difference in the original, live selection and some of the branching paths only meant Nemesis would appear here instead of there, and you would often just have to go to the other location anyways. Such as the choice wether or not to go the diner or press office in the beginning. Different dialogue, and 4 total choices. But the choices mirror each other and so do the results. And you end up going to the other location if you wish to progress. Why would Capcom do such a thing? Maybe to have a more consistent storyline, with consistent character interactions as the story progresses. I would say that's a higher quality story. Major story events are more or less the same: Jill meets Carlos during a Nemesis chase, Nemesis prevents Jill from escaping, Jill gets infected at the Clocktower, Carlos helps Jill, Jill is cured and makes her way to the final sections of the games. in the remake she is in search of a vaccine by the end, in the original IIRC she was still making her way out the city. But both are essentially the "final act".
