    You can also just do the key command for "dissolve MIDI Part" and it does the same thing. It's just one key command. The only thing is the highest note is on the bottom track for some reason.

    Great, but Not for me Andrew. The notes in my chords "stay together" for life😂 No explosion. But big ups to your high quality vidoes and your continued dedication to provide us this valuable content on Cubase. 😍🥰🥰

    Q: How is this different from "Dissolve Parts -> Separate by Pitches"?

    • @TheDigitalAudioManual
      @TheDigitalAudioManual  3 місяці тому

      hi alain,,, dissolve parts separate pitches is exactly that,, you will get a track with only E3 or only C1
      Explode,, looks at the lines that are created within a chord to chord structure so a given track could wind up with many multiple pitches instead just E3 or C1 ect ... andrew

    Hi Mr, Andrew Blake. This is Orrin Bynum again. I have two questions for you today about Exploding the Chords in Cubase. 1. After exploding your chords you wanted in Cubase & made the additional tracks you wanted to make, what did you do to determine how many ordermatic new tracks that Cubase created for you? 2. And When you went to to Iconica Sketch to get your Strings, woodwinds, etc, did you have to physically add in all of the new tracks for the Strings and woodwinds, etc, or did you click on something in Iconica Sketch that created all of the orchestral tracks automatically? Please answer these two questions at your earliest convenience? Please, I have to know these answers as soon as possible because I finally got around to try to explode my chords in Cubase and I want to know the earliest ways to get these tracks in place to hear my orchestration for my very first time. I am so eager to work your ideas out using my own music. Thank you so much for introducing this concept to me and the rest of us beginners in Cubase. So far I have not seen or heard of anyone mentioning this concept, nor have I found any videos, other than yours talking about exploding chords in Cubase. I haven’t even heard Greg Ondo talking about this. I am so amazed of this knowledge. Thank you again for making this video. As usual I am wishing you continued success with all of your future endeavors and videos and I wishing you continued financial success as well. Have a wonderful day and weekend Mr.Blake.

      thank you orrin,, for your questions and comments 1) I based the amount of tracks on how many notes appeared to be in my chords,, 4 notes, 4 tracks ect,, but dont be afraid to experiment,,, just explode them and see what happens. 2) I pre created my halion tracks for violin, viola, cello and bass first and then just dragged the MIDI from the exploded tracks into them.
      all the best,,, andrew

    It is so funny, I did the exact same things 2 weeks ago. I saw someone using the Score Explode feature to do it, but I wanted to try it in the Project Logical Editor instead, and I'm very happy with my result, it really works well.

    Hi Mr. Andrew Blake. I came back to watch this video again. I think this is a tremendously wonderful video and I just finished watching and making almost a word by word notes of your video on your Songwriting 101 in Cubase 13 video. By the way I loved that video too. My main question I have about this video is can you explode your chord progression from 4 notes to many more notes, like 8 notes at a time, and will Cubase make 8 more separate tracks from your 8 note chords in your project? Once again i want to wish you continued success with all of your future musical videos and I also wish you continued success financially as well. You are an amazing person to share all of your Cubase knowledge with us. I really appreciate you tremendously. Thank you again and again for sharing with us beginners in the Cubase family. Have a wonderful day. One more question: what country or city are you based out of. I am just curious. Thank you in advance for any of your consideration given to any of my requests. Bless you Mr. Blake.

      hi orrin
      you cannot explode to more notes than what you already have,, my suggestion there is, explode the original notes,, then duplicate the tracks you want extra.

    Mr. Blake I had to come back and watch this video again and thank you for introducing me to this feature in Cubase. This cuts down on so much time for composers who work with orchestration and it makes people like me who don’t use orchestration, this now makes me want to incorporate some of these ideas into my own music and add more variety and variation to my music. Thank you again and I wish you continued success with all of your musical endeavors with much more financial success as well. Have a wonderful day and holiday.

      Mr. Blake I have another question for you about the chord explode. For orchestration, what is the highest amount of chords that can be exploded at one time. In this video it seems like you used up to 4 notes that Cubase would create for you. Can the parts go up to 8 to 10 parts at a time. Can Cubase create up to 8 to 10 tracks at one time. Please answer the question at your earliest convenience. Thank you in advance. Have a wonderful day and week.

    Mr. Andrew Blake is was one of the most important videos that you have made for us out of all of the many videos that you have introduced us beginners too. I did not know that something like this even existed in Cubase. This process will cut down on time spent when using orchestration in your music. Thank you so much for introducing this technique to me today. I really appreciate your sharing with us beginners and maybe you have taught some of the other Cubase using a few new tricks as well. Thank you again. I wish you continued success with all of your future musical videos & endeavors. I also wish you continued success financially as well. Thank you again for this remarkable video. It is going to be such a time saver for us and a blessing at the same time. Have a wonderful day and weekend.
