    ABOUT BEARDBRAND
Beardbrand is a men’s grooming company that is helping men keep on growing by providing education and tools for urban beardsmen to master their morning routine. We’ve found that confidence starts with self investment, and allows men to do great things for their families, co-workers, and community. We are working to break down the negative stereotypes that surround bearded men, and show the world it’s the man who matters, not the way he looks.

Loving this series, and my only regret as I am fully entrenched in the UA-cam rabbit hole of them is that I didn't find them earlier - like during the pandemic. That said, I can only imagine how much more difficult it would've been dealing with what felt like a never-ending lockdown in isolation, in the absence of UA-cam and videos just like this - not necessarily for how-tos, as I myself am guilty of doing my best barber impression at home, with some decent results I might add, but for the pure entertainment, motivation and appreciation of the barber craft which has evolved to become much more than a 15-20 minute in and out cut without countless hours of deliberation and consultation from the pros. As an 80s baby, it goes without saying that I was not around for the much glorified of the barber, I want to call it the 50s....where the majority of styles viewed from that era, and corroborated from photos of elder family members, were prominent and now making a comeback like never before - with the classic gentleman cut almost being the fundamental blueprint to what eventually evolves into a passion and the craft on display - needless to say, an afternoon in the barber chair is just as therapeutic and enjoyable to the day at salon or spa which we often overhear women glorifying and indulging themselves in, which is easily understood and appreciated, even if we pretend to scoff at some of the prices they admit to paying... sure, they can pay a lot, but a good barber nowadays can deservedly charge a pretty penny for the impact they have on our self esteem, and leverage social media platforms in order to showcase their work and build their client base, which includes our favourite athletes and celebrities who will go as far as to fly their personal barber out private in the most dire of circumstances or for an emergency cut for a special event....goes without saying that a good cut is just as important as a good fit and a pair of sneakers...and for those lucky enough to still have hair on their head to manipulate, all the power to them.... otherwise, hats will never go out of style, and for those proudly and confidently rocking the shaved head, this is where solid beard work becomes even more paramount,. I can attest most of that to the two decades plus in which I have been sporting a beard of all lengths. What I will agree with and find interesting is that proud beard wearers, especially those who often treat, style and condition their beard with more focus and finesse than their actual hair, is that we sometimes become so attached with the length that we were able to achieve over time, and sometimes we sacrifice the shape and essentially the desired effect that we initially intended. This is where a highly trained barber, one with whom you trust, needs to fittingly step in and provide recommendations on how to maintain its shape, even if that means insinuating a trim in length, something we all found to be sacrilegious in the unofficial beard wars that seemed to have been running rampant amongst the hipsters and trendsetters over the past decade. I find the best way to objectively land on the best beard for your face, which is never a one size fits all proposition, is a combination of the aforementioned advice from your barber, as well as a comparison of photos you may have taken over time displaying varying lengths and shapes of your beard. I can admit that in hindsight, the period when I was deadset on achieving length at all costs, even when it meant sacrificing regular trims and maintenance, resulted in a less refined, and ultimately, inferior beard to one in which I found the perfect balance between length and fullness, as well as shape and refinement. Keep up the great content!

I still watch the channel but I lost a bunch of interest once they started featuring three transformations in each video. It's distracting IMHO.

This was when Beardbrand was at it’s peak. These Malcom Kipe tracks are so dope. I had to buy both of his albums. Whiskey, beards, and Covid-19 are what I think of when I hear that music.
